Like most, when I hear CA Closet, I assume Rolls Royce quality coupled with " sky high " prices. However, like anything of quality you have to look at It as an investment. Look back to when you purchased a car, had a deck or addition built on your home. Or even purchased furniture for your home. You probably had to pay a few " pennies " extra to get a quality product . Along with a CC system, you get a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser. Todd, my designer was excellent. He took the time to measure all my wife's clothing and shoes. After listening to her wants he emailed several options. After making her selection, a final zoom conference was scheduled to ask any questions or make design changes. I also like the transparency of their prices. You know instantly while on zoom how deletions or additions will change the price of your investment. California Closets has a wide range of colors and accessories to suit any individual taste. Moreover, the quality of the material is second to none. Our installer, Brian was fantastic. I believe his background was in high end cabinet making. You can have the best product available, but without competent installers it's worthless. Once again, if you don't want to look at your new closet as an investment you may want to head to your local big box store and grab some wiring off " the rack ". I am very pleased with my closet. After the initial installation I saw that more shelves could be added, especially where our shoes are stored My shoes are not as high and so we were able to move shelves and create space for another shelf. Also on the side where I hang my clothes , since I wear petites, I did not need as much room to hang my clothes and we were able to lower a rack to make it easier for me to reach the hangars and therefore add a shelf above. I chose the pant hanging rack and while it’s nice not sure I would add it if I had to do it over. Again since my pants are short I was able to add another drawer above where the pants hang, more place for jewelry. I just added a drawer with a plain inside because I thought the jewelry drawer with sliding shelf was a bit pricey. I do really like the jewelry drawer with sliding shelf for my frequently worn jewelry and don’t feel a need for the jewelry liner in the second drawer. I use the valet rods a lot and am glad I added those. The quality of product used is really nice. The designer and installer were both very nice. The installer helped move things around for more shelf space when he came back to add a front for the pants hangar which was very much appreciated. I really liked how the designer moved things around in our closet, placing shoes just inside the door which opened up the space and made it feel even more spacious. The design representative was very professional. On her first visit, she had taken measurements of each of two closets, taken pictures of the available space, taken counts of the different items to be stored, given us sample pictures of her proposed solutions and interviewed us as to our own expectations for the design. Within several days she had the designs completed and price proposals ready for our review and acceptance. When we accepted the proposals the firm worked with us to meet our schedule. The installers were prompt, neat and courteous. They were so quiet, one could hardly tell they were working. They cleaned up after each day's work. The quality of their work is fantastic.
