Dollar General — Local services in Sylvania

I'm not sure of the young girls name that waited on us but I'm not sure she is even qualified to work there. We went in & my boyfriend purchased some oil for the car & apparently their was some issues with the card reader bc he had to do it like 5 times. The girl said it happens on every transaction. After finally getting it to go thru, my bf checked his bank account only to find he had been charged twice. He went back in the store to inform the cashier of this & her reply was "I dont know what to tell ypu". When he ask for a manager, he was told she was in the back & the cashier then said "and I cant get her to come to the front right now. We couldn't believe this bc his daughter is an assistant manager at the store in NC where we live & anytime this has happened before, she simply reverses the charges right then. In short, I believe they need to take a look at the type cashier they have...

The new DG store location is great! It is a larger store. The team seems to really make an Impact in the community. I hope they can keep up the effort. The store is clean and the shelves are filling up. A clean and organized store makes happy customers. The old one had cluttered shelves which was the best area for thieving lowlife. I've picked up or saw empty packages many times. It depresses me to think I'm shopping with thieves! Good luck...

Store is too crowded with unnecessary clutter, cant access the aisles easily, at the register, too cluttered and while standing in line, 1 register broke. The 1 cashier then moved every one to the second register which broke after the second customer. If you had a place for zero stars, it would fit this store. Have no plans for a return visit. Will visit any other store in the area. ...
