And if I could give them -100 stars I would!!!. Worse experience EVER!!! I will first say the gentlemen on the floor were very kind and helpful. So I had this idea to make authentic barria tacos. It called for dried chile's and I knew I would probably need to go to a Latin market. My son and I go and navigate the chile isle by ourselves. I paid for them and used my own bags and the clerk put paid stickers on them. I went back into the store to buy toilet paper and an onion. I paid for them and left the store and their on duty security/police officer ran me down ACROSS THE STREET to tell me I needed to come back to the store because I didn't pay. While I was in line the clerk asked me about a drink that I brought with me into the store. I told her it was mines. Fun fact......the store didn't even sell the drink. My 9 year old son was so upset and was crying by what transpired and was pleading with the officer that I didn't steal anything. The officer said the manager was coming back to where I was at. I left to go home. If the store sees this review feel free to respond. An apology is warranted. To be accused of stealing with my child present is both disgusting and disturbing. And while there may be people who operate in this manner, all of us do not. In a climate of racial tensions, I have no other conclusion to draw other than this was a racially motivated occurrence. LET ME CLEAR, I DO NOT STEAL BECAUSE I AM BLACK!! The mindset of the majority of people in this land is fear-based, propaganda fueled, ugly lies. And you don't have to believe my words. Attached are the receipts. And the only reason I didn't go back to that store and get my money back is because my son did not want me going back there because I was NOT...

Servicio malo...y los dueños son muy maleducados. A very rude man would not allow me to finish shopping with my service animal. I had already showed my paperwork & received permission from a certain manager to shop. After an hour I was in the check-out with a basket full of groceries & a different man approaches me yelling & using very unprofessional language...& he told me to leave immediately. I showed him my paperwork, but he was still rude & breathing very heavy. Giants is around the corner & they are always polite. And there are many Latin@ specialty stores in this area that are actually professional...I do not endorse or recommend this...

Mega Mart Latino Supermarket is a new superstore that opened up near Takoma Park, Maryland. I visited this store at 12:00 PM yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised with the store's selection of products. It is a small store with a wide range of fresh products, including frozen foods. The new superstore also offers free parking in the back. I did not visit the store yesterday, but the parking lot was quite full when I visited the store today at 1:30 PM.
