I used to love this store until recently I heard of how they treat their customers. They accuse people of stealing when they didn't. The two young women were embarrassed and harassed by the management and employees. They both even offered to empty out their bags, pockets, ect to prove they did not take anything. Then when they proved they didn't have anything the manager followed them outside and continued to harass them saying "it's protocol" when anyone who works in retail knows you do not follow people outside, you call the authorities. And the young women even offered to call the cops themselves and have them search their person and the vehicle but the manager said it wasn't necessary. Well if it's not necessary to do that then why is it necessary to follow them to the car? This local gem in Tallahassee is a true (certified ethical) diamond in the rough. I am scolding myself for not visiting this amazing store more often. As a creature of habit, I have my go-to for various items and quite often overlook this great locally owned shop. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable regarding their inventory and the wide spectrum of items sold here is magnificent. I was able to get gifts for several people (myself included) and felt that the price was more than reasonable for a shop of this size. Nestled right on Lake Ella, it provides a great opportunity to visit several other local shops while getting your steps in along with taking in a gorgeous view of the lake. I'll definitely be back and also look forward to all the great events like food trunk Thursdays. Big BIG fan of Quarter Moon. Valentine's Day / Anniversary Day gifts? - This is the place. (at least, for me, for years now!)

For my wife and daughters - this is a go-to destination for me. Great inventory that I couldn't find anywhere else in town. Frankly, I wouldn't have thought of buying anything here until I realized it existed when I visited here.

Case in point, the line of Guatemalan Firefly jewelry. Wife loves colorful/festive themes and this jewelry is portable artwork - made from Austrian crystals and Czech glass beads by (I imagine) Guatemalteco artisans.

But wait, there's more! - You've seen those cool steel-drum works of art? - They have them here. It's senseless for me to go through the categories, but from the top of my head, they are: neato-keen stationary, light-catchers, door beads, leather stuff, dresses/skirts, those nifty socks that teen (and pre-teen) girls wear, etc.
