To begin with, I looked on the website before hand to make sure they had the tool I was looking for in stock and it said they had 7 in stock. However when I went in to purchase the tool I was told that they didnt not have it in stock. Therefore I just proceeded to buy the 25' tape measure instead of the 16' which I didnt have an issue with. After wait for 10-12min I finally acquired the tape measure, but it was not the one I wanted.(you would think the sales representative would use there head and sold me the 25' that had the same gimmicks as the 16' but sadly not). So I proceeded to go back in and show a diffrent representative the one I wanted and was told that they did not have the 16' or 25' with the gimmick in stock. Then the original sale representative that I first went with started giving me attitude and started asking me with an unprofessional tone about why I didnt come in with the tape measure and dont they all do that same you just use it to measure. (I'm sorry that your systems are not up to date with what you have in inventory.) And he was complaining about how I made him go through all this work to get me the tape measure when all he did was SIT behind a desk and type on his keyboard while the other sales person went and got me my tape measure. To say the least it was my first time trying to purchase something from electric supply and it will be my last. And to top it all off the tape measure that they brought me cost $19.99 at home depot but Electric supply was going to charge me $27 and...

Definitely not the friendly helpful supply house of old. You can absolutely tell the company was sold off and the new owners have profits above all in mind. Even the same employees in every department who used to be friendly and helpful seem to be pissed off and don’t want to be there. I know all businesses of every industry have staffing issues as good employees can be hard to come by these days. But the fact that so many of their employees are not new it makes you wonder what’s really going on. I used to buy probably 90% of my materials here but now less than 1% is bought here.
