Update! Tamworth Farmers Market diligently opens every week with various vendors. Prices are high in all farmers markets, but particularly vegetable prices in Tamworth are just stupid. (eg, Cauliflower = $3.50/lb, asparagus = $5.50 for 1/2 lb). These folks seem to think all their customers are privileged, wealthy and ignorant. If they curtailed thier greed for just half a minute, they'd realize that profits are actually made in selling volume to grateful, return customers instead of trying to make bank right now...then have 1/2 the crop go to waste. And there were different art vendors each time. With beautiful work in pottery, jewelry, skin care, etc. Many local produce vendors. One farm was making sausage egg breakfast sandwiches with their sausage and eggs and bread that you could also purchase.
