Dont buy a rug here. These people are total scam artists. They sell cheap chach at insane prices. The rugs are marked up 10,000 percent then you are supposed to negotiate the price down and buyers often overpay. A little old charming lady will negotiate with you then go to the manger and say that the manager is going to call the rug maker to see if the price can be agreed upon. Then she comes back and gives in to your price plus a bit to make it feel like you really got a deal. Dont be fooled. These are not Navajo rugs as they claim... they are made in mexico and cheap junk just like the rest of the chach...

It's not a gallery or jewelry store and little of it is authentic New Mexico but it is an fantastic store never the less. I browsed for about 45 minutes and walked out with a vintage lantern for only 22 bucks. Had a nice discussion with the nice lady running the counter and was happy to do business with them. Everything seems spectacularly overpriced. - Even factory produced pottery. We did enjoy Camino Real and spent some browsing time. The folks working the place were friendly and willing to bargain.
