2023 lockdowns and all problems are gone now. 5 stars!
01/17/2021 I need to knock off 1 star because there are still 2 glaring problems with this UPS location.
#1 the lines are still over 1 hour long because they only allow 2 people inside the store at a time (which is rediculous!).. people will get sick on this 1 hour line, not due to COVID, but due to the common cold by forcing your customers to wait outside in 30 degree cold weather with high winds.
#2 Daniel. I am sorry for saying this.. Daniel is an awesome person, super friendly, super helpful, a perfect UPS employee in every way except the one thing that is important.. speed. Daniel spends over 15 minutes per customer. While i was standing in the line, I timed him with my watch and he averaged exactly 15 minutes per customer. Mind you he knew his line was out the door and down the block, yet he continued his "welcome to Disneyland" speech to every customer that walked into the door, every phone call, everyone he was working with and everyone exiting the door. This would be fine if there were no masks and no lockdowns and everyone allowed inside and if he had lots of coworkers helping him. But this was not the time nor place for Daniel to be taking his time explaining every service, every option, and every proceedure to every customer. I think Daniel is very talented and has an awesome voice. I believe he would make a great actor in movies, TV or voiceovers. But behind a UPS counter is a waste of his talents and a huge waste of time to all those customers waiting outside in the freezing cold of January during these crazy and stupid lockdowns of 2020 & 2021. For perspective, the line went all the way down past Shelly's restaurant. This is unacceptable.
To fix these 2 problems.. give Daniel any non-customer facing job (work in the back, moving boxes, loading trucks, accounting, inventory etc).. or give Daniel customer training with a huge emphasis on speed of transactions. Each customer should be in and out the door in less than 4 minutes instead of 15. If speed is beyond Daniel's ability and if he cant be placed in non-customer facing jobs, then you need to replace him with someone who can handle customers in an acceptable amount of time per transaction.
Also, on any known busy day you should have a minimum of 3 employees at the front helping customers.
On top of this, allow 5 or 10 customers inside the store till these stupid lockdowns are gone so people will not get sick waiting outside in the freezing cold.
Visiting the UPS store should not take a quarter of your entire day just because 1 employee doesnt know how to handle customers.
This is a very good UPS store. They offer a lot of shipping options. Great place to bring shipping returns for drop off. Good prices. Super friendly employees who are very helpful.

Cons: During this rediculous covid lockdown, they only allow 1 person inside at a time. This forces a huge line down the sidewalk for no reason. The line can take up to 1 hour or longer. I think the manager or owner of this location should take a look at how grocery stores and small shops smaller than this one are allowing everyone to go inside at once with no problems. I told him about my printing that I needed to send and then coming into fax it and he made me feel so comfortable with everything everything was so clear and they said don’t worry, we’ll take care of you. I walked in and Alfred was so warm and welcoming as was Miguel, Keisha and Zach it was a team effort. The printing was all prepared for me so neatly and in a wonderful large cardboard envelope, the faxing was done with ease. It was very important. It was going to a doctor’s office. I’m in the medical field as well, but this was very important and it was personal Many pages had to be faxed efficient warm, welcoming clean. It was just a pleasure and I was quite anxious since I don’t have a fax machine any longer and I’ve recently moved so my printer wasn’t hooked up and I felt I had a whole team working for me. Read moreSo apparently I received a phone call today telling me that they are not sure if they deliver the right package to my sister for her Christmas gift. The only thing that gentleman offered me was to refund me the service fee but informed him that I had placed a hundred dollar gift card in the package also a body wash set, very disappointed with this service and will not be using UPS again. The individual's name is Daniel and he admitted to me that he made that mistake, he told that he will rectify this mistake by having overnight shipment and this was on Dec 23rd and today is the 26th and the package was not processed till the 23rd at night and was dropped off on the 24th. Also how can my sister gift end up in Ohio and it was suppose to go to North Carolina. This is outrageous and this individual needs to be reprimanded, from the reviews i see this is not the first time he has done a mistake with packages. This really gives UPS a bad name when individuals like this make mistakes. Also the second and third phone call he didn't offer a refund which i believe i should get because I did not get what I paid for. I am still not sure if whoever got the package for my sister was honest and place everything back. So now i have to wait to verify if everything is there...
