Fun time 4th of July, 2023! I bought a ticket for the Rodeo online, and although I couldn't find any info on how much parking would be, I was prepared for whatever. The thing to know about Tehachapi is, if you're used to LA (or any city for that matter), you need to dial it WAY back for this little town! For example, there was nobody guiding cars or charging for parking - it was just park where you want! Then, there was nobody to check my ticket which I had printed in case they didn't have a digital scanner, and I was a little bent that I paid $20 and nobody checked tickets at the gate. I also had my backpack with camera gear, so I went to a group of Kern County Sheriffs to tell them I had camera gear and let them check my backpack - but they just said it's cool, don't need to check my backpack! Adapting to Tehachapi aside, the rodeo was entertaining, and the fireworks were quite impressive for such a small town - far better quality...
Read moreThis was my first visit there 7/4/21. Arrived 45min til 6 and was turned away due to no seating or parking. What was frustrating is I had purchased two tickets 3days earlier and was told by the parking attendant that they don't give refunds. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she couldn't give me any help. This was my first and unfortunately my last experience with this company. I'll do everything I can to keep people from going. Save your money!! They over book and take no responsibility for their actions. Absolutely the worst way to...

I left at 7:15. Maybe if it were an event with numbered seats I would be encouraged to return and I could...
