We were visiting Tehachapi & after checking into our room we wanted dinner but something casual. We had tried other eateries in town but nothing we wanted to revisit. So I went on line & Google restaurants, there were several results some we had already tried & other that didn't sound like what we were looking for. Then I checked Gracian Grill & it sounded exactly what we were looking for. The first thing that inspired us to give them a try was the variety of different types of food they offer, from steak, seafood, & pasta to Mexican. When we walking in we were greeted by a very nice young man, who later we found out he is part of the family who has owned & runs the restaurant for generations. He took our order very quickly & we got our food just as quickly. My husband & I both ordered the Rib Eye steak that came with a delicious bowl of homemade chicken noodle soup, a baked potato & fresh veggies. By the time we finished our wonderful (tummy warming) soup our food was being served. Everything was as piping hot & our steak was cooked to perfection. Everything on the menu was reasonably priced. We were very pleased with our first impression we went back the next morning to try the breakfast menu it was so good our next trip will include lunch too. So we are now loyal Gracian Grill patrons. Great people, food, price & cozy atmosphere . . . . . try it you...

I was in Tehachapi to see a few friends that I have not seen since at least 2001. So, we decided to go here for dinner. The service by Sandra, was excellent (5 stars) as was the margarita (not a drink I usually have when I by myself, but since I was with friends, I said why not? And, only $4.95).

As you can see by the pictures, I had the garlic grilled pork chops and real mashed potato2 (there was potato skin and chunks of potato), along with fresh vegetable medley. The salad, was nice and fresh. My dinner, was really good. However, for me anyway, they did cook the chops a little longer than I would have liked (moist, not dry like this was).

And besides the great company and service, it was a real enjoyable...

Ordered a no-meat omelette ("no meat" was even written on the ticket) and they added meat anyway. I ate a little before I realized. I'm a vegetarian and haven't eaten meat in two years.

I ate the potatoes and toast, then took a few bites of the omelette before noticing that ham chunks were integrated into the egg. I asked for a price adjustment or replacement of the omelette portion of the meal. The server still tried to charge me for the entire meal. After asking for the owner or manager's direct number (which he refused) he asked me to leave without paying anything.

Very odd place. I'm a reasonable guy and I realize mistakes happen, but the key is to own up to them and try to make them right rather than...

We are new to the area so desperately searching for a favorite place to grab breakfast weekly. Our first visit we tried their chilequilles.....to die for. I loved them so much I didn't even snap a picture . We don't eat meat so instead of ordering meat with them then my allowed us to substitute for avocado. I loved this place so much when my parents visited the same week we went back for more. My mother ordered the steak and I ordered the chalupa with out meat again. We were let down. For sure this will be our go to place.

Very bland food, no beer on tap only bottles and a minimal selection. The side of guacamole was basically scooped out of a store bought container. The house salsa... nothing to speak about. That would explain why one (1) person was dinning at 5:30 in the evening... needs a complete make over, not sure how this place is still open. Also having multiple appliances sitting, all nasty and rusted literally outside the dinning area was a big eye sore.. but old school phone booth in the corner was cool...!!

We were driving through on I-58 and needed a good meal. To our surprise we seen this place and drove in to park. Very casual and welcoming we ordered Rib-eye with baked potatoe and vegetables and chicken Marsala with garlic mashed potatoes with vegetables and both with salada as well. Needless to say we enjoyed our meal so if you're passing through or want a good meal this is it.
