Oh my gosh! I cannot say enough good things about Temecula Wine Trolley Tours! This was my second time taking a tour with them, and I chose it specifically because I had such an amazing experience the first time I went. First, I want to start with Holly and Bill, the owners. Holly has incredible energy and creates a terrific party atmosphere on the trolley that everyone wants to be part of. Bill, who drives the trolley while Holly is busy being the MC/DJ/travel guide, is friendly and capable. He makes you feel safe in his driving skills--especially on hills or narrow roads, of which there are many in Temecula wine country! Next, I want to highlight how different this tour is from others I've been on. Many wine tours tend to be a bit staid, even quiet. This nis fine if you're more interested in a low-key wine tasting experience. Temecula Wine Trolley is designed to be an all-out party! Holly plays the latest and greatest hits while everyone dances, laughs, talks and has a generally great time! When we arrive at each winery, Holly makes sure that everyone knows the lay of the land and understands how wine tasting works (if a trolley guest is a newby or needs a refresher). Then she sticks around, in case trolley guests need anything). Holly takes tons of photos of each group so that the group doesn't have to worry about taking awkward selfies or asking strangers to take pics, and then she sends you the photos in a day or so. I definitely plan to tour with Holly and Bill on the Temecula Wine Trolley again when my adult daughter and her boyfriend visit this summer. If you're looking for a fun, engaging, memorable time with a fabulous vibe, I highly recommend Temecula Wine...
Read more10/10 Recommend – The Holly Trolley is the Best! This was my first-ever wine tasting trolley tour, and I had no idea what to expect — but it completely exceeded anything I could have imagined. If you're looking for a fun, unforgettable experience, I highly recommend this tour. Holly and Bill, the dynamic duo, were absolutely amazing! From the great music to the smooth driving and the energy they brought, they kept the party going the entire time. Their vibe made the whole day even more special. We visited some fantastic wineries along the way. First stop was Akash Winery, where we enjoyed delicious wines andbeer — a great spot to kick things off. Then we headed to Maurice Car’rie Vineyard, famous for their signature brie cheese bread (so good!) and a great charcuterie board. Everything was delicious, and the setting was perfect for relaxing and snacking. Our final winery stop was Bella Vista, where we caught the most beautiful sunset views of the day. Their red wines were incredible, and the chic speakeasy vibe gave the whole experience a cool, upscale twist. The ride home? A total party. Holly kept the music going, and it turned into a full-on dance party on the trolley. Everyone was having a blast — it was such a fun and welcoming group, and the energy was high from start to finish. All around, this was an incredible experience. Great people, great wine, and the best hosts. I’ll absolutely be...
Read moreI was in Temecula for a couple of days and usually just take a Lyft to each winery. I wanted to do something different and I stumbled across this wine trolley tour and decided to give it a try.
I called first to ask if I could find out the wineries in advance since I already been to several and didn’t want to repeat any. They did not know which wineries yet, (I called 3 weeks in advance) but she (forgot her name) asked for the ones I visited previously and would see if she could book ones I never been to.
Within 10 minutes, she texted me the list (Maurice Currie, Bella Vista and Falkner) for my preferred day and none of them were repeats! She text me the link for bookings and I instantly booked!
Our tour started at 10am and the beautiful trolley arrived at 9:45am. Mailey was our host and D was our driver. Mailey kept the water flowing at each winery, and D had bottled water and snacks ready on the air-conditioned trolley. I honestly thought I might overdo it with the wine, but the water breaks and a little food I bought at one of the wineries kept me balanced (thank God!)
On the ride back, Mailey played everyone’s song requests. I, of course, asked for Prince, and we were grooving. It was a small crowd (about 10 or so other people) and they were great and outgoing folks.
Overall, it was a fun experience, and I would...
