Passion Organic Farm — Local services in Temple Terrace

New review: March 2025, this place has made some changes and upgrades and it was amazing! The strawberries were very ripe and you can pick a huge basket in no time. They also have a sign to not pick the veggies 😁. Unfortunately some people will come and pick strawberries and not pay so help them out by saying something if you see this as they work hard to have this beautiful farm and no one should be stealing.

Old review: Just be aware that you should not pick up any of the veggies next to the strawberries or you will be charged $2.50 per pound and potentially treated very rudely. This was my first time here and there was no indication anywhere that one was not allowed to get the zucchini that were right next to the strawberries. I have been to other U Pick farms that were for strawberries but once there, they had a few other things in the field you could also get.

When I went to pay, the cashier was laughing at me and said I was not supposed to pick those. When I went to get something else in their little “veggie store” I saw that the zucchini was only $3 for 4 of them (much less than what I was being charged). I spoke with the owner and was basically made wrong for not knowing this. There are no signs and no one at the front giving any direction as to what to do. He told the girl to just take the veggies back and I could get the other ones they had. I went to hand her the bag and she wouldn’t take it and said, “you can put it over there”. I don’t know why they had such an attitude, I was not being rude and was honestly just confused. I have been to many places and you always have someone at the front when you come in who gives you the directions of what is needed and wanted when coming to the farm. They should have a sign or some indication of what is the rules if they don’t want people picking certain things. It is very simple.

Strawberries were very sweet and the vendors in the little farmer market were great. I am not saying not to come here, just be aware...

This farm is a hidden gem! Strawberry U-Picks are my favorite time of year! But this farm is so much more than U-Pick. They have a seasonal market with all organic veggies and strawberries available for purchase. There are many other vendors with lots of delish stuff to offer as well. I go mainly to the see my favorite vendors from the Temple Terrace market that set up there every Saturday.
