Fantastic small family-owned organic farm with the BEST strawberries! They also have a few veggies, and the market has vendors with local honey, fresh eggs, herbs, plants, etc. We have been coming here for several years, and it’s one of our son’s favorite annual activities. Depending on when you go, we have gotten huge berries…also times when things are picked over and we get smaller ones, but the berries are by far the sweetest ones we’ve had. Went last weekend and picked two large containers of berries, and we are ready to go back for more. Bring your own bucket, and they will give a discount on the weight of your bucket. The owners are also the nicest people—they don’t mind if kids sample as they pick. They also have sunflowers, wild flowers for picking—we picked sunflowers as an afterthought ($1/stem). He said they get charged a fee for the small amount and told me just to pay it back the next time we come—it was so nice of him!! Grab a strawberry shake or smoothie before you leave also. Kids also love climbing on the older tractors, seeing the chickens, goats, and other farm animals. Definitely a fun destination, and I love supporting this small...
Read moreWonderful family run farm, they are very polite, courteous and you genuinely feel that they are looking out for the community! On top of everything these are all organic berries - the bugs give that away! The bugs are nothing bad, not too many but you can tell that these have not been sprayed [good thing], and trust me if a bug does not want to eat a piece of fruit, you should not either! Took 7 kids there and they had a blast! Ate a ton of berries, saved a ton of berries, enjoyed the walk and family time!

As it turned out, they were using sound cannons to scare away birds. Yes, dear farm owners, we could hear it very well inside our apartment. It sounded like gunshots every 10-20 seconds and continued for several hours. Our dog freaked out. I mean this is a residential area. I am sure there are other ways to deter birds because blasting like this at 8 am on a weekend somehow doesn't feel "organic". If it doesn't stop we'll complain to the authorities; I'm sure we're not the only ones...
