Texstar Travel Center - Temple, TX — Local services in Temple

Unfortunately, when I came in around 6:00 the store was extremely dirty. The women's restroom had a stall with what seems to be period blood on the toilet paper. There were also dark splotches everywhere on the floor. I used a different stall after my observation, and that stall was dirty as well. Lots of dirt on the doors, and small pieces of toilet paper or paper towels all over the place. I observed some paper towels behind the women's trash can and the trash can was full. Leaving the restroom there were wet floor signs everywhere, but the floors still looked extremely dirty. I'm very disappointed, as before this month the store was very clean for a few months. Not sure what happened, as I'm a frequent guest here, but the store seems so dirty now. The male that checked me out was very sweet as always. Hope things improve...

The cashier that worked this morning is ALWAYS in a bad mood, nods in disapproval when she has to get out of her seat in order to ring people up. This morning ONLY 1 door, the furthest door was unlocked and she gave me the worst attitude AGAIN. If he goal in life is to loose customers, shes doing perfect job. If every employee was like her, id leave a less than 1 star review if possible.

The only reason I did not leave 1 star is because the cook in the back makes the BEST bacon and egg sandwich on texas toast and the #1 Bacon cheese burger. That man alone is the only reason I will continue to be a customer. This man deserves a more than decent raise. He is always in a good mood, and always happy to help a customer or another employee at any time. Id give this place 5 stars based...

I had such a great experience at the Texas Travel Center. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely eager to help.
