Today, Monday 3/24/2025 I had an appointment with Dr. Higgins at 11:20am. I arrived at approximately 11:10 AM. I checked in. I sat down. I waited for 40 minutes in the waiting room and then I looked up and I was the last person in the waiting room. They did not call me for another 15 minutes so at 12:15, I walked to the desk and asked if the doctors and nurses were at lunch. The receptionist said yes maâam from 12pm until 1pm !!! . So there I sat with the doctors and the nurses expecting me to sit in the lobby waiting room for an hour while they went to lunch. My appointment was well before lunch. They should not have went to lunch without seeing a patient that had an appointment at 11:20am !!! How Rude ? This is just wrong. I donât know who is running this office, but they donât know how to do their job.. I am very frustrated and very angry that this happened to me. I just canceled my appointment and left the office at 12::15pm Do they really expect a patient to sit in the waiting room while they go to lunch ??? If so, they must be out of their mind. Doctors believe that their time is more valuable than everyone else elseâs time and that is not true. If I have an 11:20 AM appointment they should see me by 11:30 AM. My time is just as valuable as the doctors time. Why do doctors disrespect people by making them wait well past their appointment time ? I do not get it ! I just wasted 15 minutes driving to the office. 65 minutes sitting in the waiting room,- and another 15 minutes driving home. Does anyone care ? I...
Read moreReally mixed feelings about this place. I, myself as a patient a few years back received excellent care from carpal tunnel issues. Yesterday, my daughter was a returning patient for follow up on a broken bone. It was a disaster upon walking to reception to sign in. She was VERY RUDE! Waited and finally got to back for X-ray, then, for the next hour we were TOTALLY IGNORED! After requesting, got into the exam room and waited and waited. Missed another appt and charged a no show fee (over 2 hrs) we walked out. Dr was outside our door âchattingâ nonchalantly about TENNIS! Upon leaving I called the office demanding to speak to doctor for a simple answer on the X-ray. Sent to voicemailâŚ. Called again(asking NOT to be sent to voicemail!). Sent straight back to voicemail. Left detailed voicemail and called back a THIRD TIME. ⌠rudely sent to voicemail. Called again at 5:00 and of course, answering machine was turned on already. Uncalled for since the office was not that busy for this to happen. In closing, âvoicemail instructions say you will be contacted in 24 hours and guess what⌠NO CALLBACK! I WILL be doing business elsewhere! If my daughter is charged a whole fee for yesterdaysâ FIASCO AND WASTE OF TIME, and I WILL check with her insurance claims, I WILL FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE STATE AND FEDERAL INSURANCE COMMISSIONERS!...
Read moreYou are given an appointment but they do not honor it. You have to wait in the waiting room for a ridiculous amount of time. Once my name was called I expressed my frustration of having to wait so long to the lady who called me to the back. Once inside the room my blood pressure was checked the aid made a comment that it was probably elevated due to my wait. I said â No, itâs because Iâm in pain!â It also took the doctor a long time to come into the room to see me. His reason was the two patients before me required more attention. He didnât seem to know anything about me as if he hadnât taken the time to go over my chart. He wasnât paying attention to what I was telling him at the end because his back was turned to me. He didnât know why I was wearing the wrist brace and it was their office that issued the brace to me. I read the written notes from my MRI on my left shoulder but he didnât go over nor mention a lot of the things on it. I had to ask what one of the things on it was. I really felt like he wasnât concerned about my health care and donât think I will be going back. I donât agree with the having to see nurse practitioners when other patients get to see doctors. This particular visit I did see the doctor thatâs why I was...
