If i could i would give Zero stars as this is exactly what this located and the staff at this location deserve. I am a paying member at this store and i went to this located today to get pokemon as i have five children that are all boys and it is hard to get this product at all let alone get enough so all my boys can have their own because of grown people buying everything in sight and leaving none for children. they have a policy right now, which limits two per membership, which is great because that at least leaves some for the people that actually want to buy some for their kids or collection. Well, I was there today and I took My Brother in which is a minor and has a membership with my mother. He is 17 years old. The worker came up to me and snatched the boxes out of my hand and said that it was only one per membership. He was very rude. He does not know how to talk to customers, especially customers that pay to shop at this establishment. This is not just a Walmart or some other store open to the public. I pay to shop here and I was treated like a criminal like I was going to run out the door with merchandise or something it was completely uncalled for, and they should not have people working in the front at the registers that don’t know how to talk to or treat customers like humans. It’s funny that they put these policies in order to stop the customers from fighting and taking things from one another, but they have their staff now standing at the front snatching stuff out of people’s hands and treating them horrible. Definitely will never be shopping at this location again and will never recommend it to anybody. I will drive the extra distance to go to a different location and matter fact I have a Sam’s membership. I’ll probably end up not renewing my Costco membership at all because of this experience, they don’t have anything a value for me to continue here. Sam’s has everything I need and way cheaper Costco is not what it used to be. Especially not this location. It has honestly became...
Read moreI need to get a fridge, and friends tell me how great costco is for getting appliances. Good prices, free delivery, free haul away, free basic install. Sounds pretty good, right? No.
I ordered this stuff on their 4th of July sale, and since prices were good, I decided to get some other kitchen appliances. The fridge was available for delivery around July 20th, but some of the other stuff wasn't available until August 6th, so since I figure save some delivery cost, save some hassle, lets just have everything delivered on the 6th.
August 6th comes, and only the stuff that had an earliest delivery date of the 6th is delivered. I go online and look at my order and they claim that they attempted to deliver the fridge on July 20th. They said they contacted me, left voice mail, all sorts. Thing is, and I'd be willing to provide my phones records as proof, I never got a phone call, a voice mail, a text message, and email, nothing. No notice of any kind they were trying to deliver on the 20th. And beyond that, I'd requested an August 6th delivery.
I end up having to reschedule for the 16th, because they claim it's my fault. 16th comes. The fridge comes. The delivery guys ask me to come out and look at it, it looks like somebody had beaten it with a crowbar. The delivery guys say they've never seen one so beat up and recommend I refuse to accept it and order a replacement.
Well, I do that and just get told that it won't be here until September 2nd. Now I know people are going to say theirs supply line issues and all, and yeah, I get that. But that's only an excuse for the September 2nd delivery. That doesn't count for "trying to deliver" on the 20th when I'd asked for the 6th, claiming they'd contacted me about it when they didn't, and not bothering to check that the product was actually in okay shape before delivering.
People say costco will make things right, I've not seen it yet, just screw up after screw up. I'm...
Read moreBeen going to Costco for years and love certain items so I continue to go back. I know the pandemic is making everything difficult on everyone, so I get it, but some of the associates could be more polite. I don't go to Costco often (maybe 4 or 5 times a year), even through this pandemic. Last I was there was maybe June, and there have been some store hour changes I was unaware of until this morning. Last I knew, the store opened at 9:30. When I went to go in the entrance greeter wasn't as polite as he should have been stating, "aonly senior members from 9am-10am. The sign has been there for months." I felt attacked in a way, that I should have known about store hour changes that happened after my last visit. I felt scolded like a child. I responded to the man stating, "Thanks for letting me know, I haven't been here in a very long time, I didn't know." And I politely went to my car and waited. To me, and a fellow customer and her family (around my age), the greeter was rude and should have handled that situation better. Neither of us knew that it was senior hour (which we think is wonderful!). To assume that we were ignoring a sign. I get that the pandemic is causing us stress, and that the greeter might have to tell many customers that rule, but the greeter really should be kinder about informing customers. A simple, "Sorry, I can't let you in yet. Between 9-10am is for seniors. A sign is posted next to the door for more info. Please come back at 10am." That type of reponse avoids assumption, is kind, welcomes a customer back, and informative to help a customer be more observant (hopefully). So Costco, I love your store, products, and how you treat your employees, but PLEASE ensure your greeters aren't gonna be jerks. If I ever witness that happen again I will be sure to make...
