I love Sara Kemp and all she brings from her amazing food to her delightful personality. At Christmas I contacted her as I was working on Christmas gifts for my friends and ran across her name on Everything Frederick. I wanted to put together a special Christmas gift to include an electric wine opener, favorite wine and whatelse could I include to make it extra special? When I ran across the website and saw Sara offered individual charcuterie boxes I thought this would be perfect to round out my gift. The boxes had everything and then some to make a perfect evening, lunch, etc. Did you know Sara delivers! For the Christmas holiday she had ordered special holiday boxes which had beautiful gold bows on them. When she arrived at my house I couldn't believe how large and full the charcuterie boxes were and was beyond thrilled as it was a hit with me so I knew my friends would love it to! Which they did! In true Sara fashion she included a box free of charge for me! The quality of everything, meats, cheeses, crackers, fruit, condiments, desserts was exceptional! Thank you Sara! Sara Kep's Kitchen has been a staple of our family's meal weekly meal planning for more than 6 months. We appreciate the portion sizes and the variety but most, her attention to detail when we make special requests. For example, one person in our household is allergic to kiwi. It was an ingredient in fruit salad one week and we knew we could trust that our fruit salad was prepared separately (so no kiwi or juice even touched our food). We have had 2 order errors but they were both corrected swiftly and we were more than happy with the result. Our family also asked if we could order a "special project" -- a Thanksgiving charcuterie board for the Thursday and the Friday night shifts at FC Animal Control. Sara put together a gorgeous, overflowing board AND a container of "refill" items so the tray would stay full for these essential workers that had to be at their jobs on a holiday. Spent $150 + tip on a Beef Wellington Valentine's Day meal. It was difficult to bake it evenly -- which I understand can happen with a large piece of meat, but the cooking directions were way off and we followed them to the tee. The pastry surrounding it was soggy at the bottom after baking. I mentioned this to the number provided and was told "it was made last night and turned out how it should." Hmm...okay?
