I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!!!
Lack of communication and transparency is what gives this dealership a 1star review. To be honest, they deserve much less.
We were looking at a 2023 Yukon. They ran our credit for 2 different vehicles which wasn't approved by my wife and I. Apparently they didn't take us seriously when we said we wanted our credit ran on the Yukon alone simply so that we could see rates and explore options. So now we have a double ding on our credit! Thanks Vermillion!
After this, not only were we still willing to proceed, but we decided that we were paying for the vehicle outright since, as everyone knows interest rates are ridiculous right now. (No we are not richy rich people but it's better than the alternative to pay practically 13%) you think that might peak there interests a little bit right?
We were in constant communications with our sales rep to ensure that money was on the way! We were ready to put a down payment on this vehicle so that we could get our finances in order. We were told not to worry about a down payment and that it would be fine and that there isn't any action happening with the vehicle.
Needless to say, not a single person gave us a courtesy call to let us know that someone was interested and about to purchase this vehicle. Instead, we received a call after the sale with them trying to sell the TRADE IN that they recieved!!! The audacity...
So now we have double dings on our credit, no vehicle, and then when trying to complain to a manager, let me tell ya, he took our concerns very seriously....not!
AGAIN, DO NOT WORK WITH THIS DEALERSHIP!
Edit** To respond briefly to the comment below, Our credit reports say differently and we will be disputing these reckless damges. The deposit wasn't indefinite and our sales rep Eric knew this. Its unfortunate as we now have our funds in order. We will be taking our business to a dealership that is better equipped to take our intentions...

I sent an email immediately in the hopes that I would be contacted by Vermillion Chevrolet of Tilton, Illinois in regards to the sale of this vehicle. I did receive an email promptly. I called the Internet Sales phone number listed in the email and began speaking with Sherard Blanden the Internet Salesman. I explained to him what I had seen regarding the listed price on Vermillion Chevrolet's website about the 2016 Chevy 2500 HD and he promptly started laughing as he was telling me that the listed price was wrong. He also told me that if I had read the disclaimer with the very fine print at the bottom of the listing I would have figured out that the price had been listed wrong because price can vary. He also told me that a 3rd party vendor updates Vermillion Chevrolet of Tilton, Illinois website and that the wrong price listing was not their fault or problem. Sherard Blanden also laughed and said that if that were the correct price he would have already purchased that vehicle by now. Well I was not laughing and I then immediately asked to speak to a manager. Adam the manager apparently with no last name answered the line. I explained to Adam my issue and Adam stated in a manager type fashion that his company was not responsible for the 3rd parties mixup in listing the wrong price of $4335 for the 2016 Chevy 2500 HD. I said sir as the manager working for your company you are responsible for what ultimately is being placed on Vermillion Chevrolet of Tilton, Illinois website. I also told him that it was bait and switch which is illegal at least in most states as well as Illinois. Adam said he would look into it.
Buyers beware that what is listed on Vermillion Chevrolet of Tilton, Illinois website may not be correct. Do your homework before you waste your time and money. If you like attitude, they seemingly have plenty of that...
Read moreBought my truck from here and actually had a good experience with Hunter.. Had a level kit put on and took in for alignment when I got to the dealership at 7pm to drop my truck off I had a low tire message 27 psi so I wrote a note to also check what it was..the next day I get off work at 4pm and head there..no update on the truck or the process stuff they email. When I get there first they can't even find my keys or know who I am.. finally they find them and the tech starts with listen you got to trust me...we couldn't do the alignment because there was a stick in your tire and was leaking .. He said it was low when he got there I said what PSI he said 26 so it dropped 1 PSI in 12 hours ..and then told me he couldn't do the alignment because of the tire which is a lie. I get if it was a thing that in 10 mins it went flat but it lost 1 PSI in 12 hours. He could have easily just aired the tire up and done the alignment..so they put my spare on and said that they couldn't do it with the spare on either.. " remind you this is a full size spare tire with a different rim" which isnt true at all as long as the tire is the same size you can do the alignment..I just had a lift kit put on so even a 90% alignment would have been better then nothing..I told him that your tires dont have anything to do with your alignment you dont have to get a alignment if you change tires..you could just air it up and done the alignment..He said we'll the tires we can get.....I just caught him off like I'm not buying tires from you guys now..I worked with hunter on buying my truck and have nothing bad to say about him or the process ..But this service department sucks..go somewhere else so now I got an emergency appointment with Krowned Kustomz for an alignment and also to check out some new rims and tires for my truck..Spend your money...
