My partner and I found this hidden gem yesterday. Upon walking in, I immediately fell in love. The owner was very personable, friendly and helpful. She told us about the local art and books, allowing us to look through limited edition books, and leaving us to browse around with no pressure. Upstairs, we found children's books. Two of them written by the owner herself! She hadn't even mentioned it. I bought two books and will be going back to purchase her books amoung other items. Love this shop and its owner; best place for birthday cards; always clever, unusual merchandise in a wide price range. Tiverton is not a retail hot spot, but Courtyards is worth a detour. Courtyards is probably the only shop where one could find a specifically Tiverton souvenir. I am local and have been shopping here...
