Dollar General — Local services in Tiverton

Great for a quick stop, however this Tiverton location has horrible customer service with their two women employees. Extremely great customer service with the two gentlemen that typically work together, they are super kind, helpful and attentive, they definitely deserve a raise, however those two women should be terminated. Those two women are horrendous, lack of knowledge, rude, can’t ring people out, don’t greet you, won’t answer your questions so beware you’ll be in there for an hour to check out one item if they’re working lol!! I literally witnessed the one older women watching a huge line form over a 20 minute span while she flirted with the FedEx driver it was disgusting and five customers just stood there in line waiting forever to check out. I love this location. I live on the other side of Tiverton so I always go to the one on main road which was the first one in town. This new location is larger and way more organized, they offer more products plus it's a new building. It's located where the old Ranger Elementary School was, which I attended as a child. I would rather go to this location as it is a nicer store, the employees are all very nice just like the other location, ( at my local Dollar General, I know all of the employees from running there all the time) Dollar General is one ot my favorite dollar stores because they have a wide selection of items, beware not everything is $1.00. They told me to add the app so that I could get discounted rates. On several occasions when I put in my phone number it doesn’t pull the deals that I spent a lot of time looking for. When I got my receipt at the counter I asked about it and all they said was “oh sometimes that happens… there’s nothing we can do”. As someone who goes there every week and spends a lot of money there you would think they would take the of the situation. No… the guy there wouldn’t help.
