DG Market — Local services in Tobyhanna Township

This store does not stock well AT ALL. They have been out of the boxes of their own brand of Fruity Pebbles literally for months. They even reset the cereals and labels sometime in this time frame, so it is not like they discontinued it. Also, I have watch as an entire shelf full of frozen breakfast sandwiches disappear and is now sitting empty. Also they completely stopped carrying the frozen beef and bean burritos, and only carry bean. That spot on the shelf is FULL, because nobody likes them. Discontinue the bean and stock beef and bean again! I used to shop here to avoid Aharts, but now I am having to go there anyway after going to DG, because DG cannot manage their own inventory. And these are just the items I look for. Who knows how many other items they just do not pay attention to? How they stY in Business is beyond me. Aharts may charge an arm and a leg, but at least they WANT to sell customers...

Bought Christmas candy at the Blakeslee store and got 50% off and went back hours later for another bag and only got 25% off. Also, Digital coupons don’t always work and have to prove the discount shown on phone- buyer beware to make sure you get the coupon discounts because the machine does not always give the discounts. Store is very messy with stock piled up in the aisles. Went to the store by the race track and got 50% off on the Christmas candy. How can 2 stores owned by the same owner have such different prices? How can you get 50% off and then they change it to 25% the same day (I have the receipts to prove it). Plus the new store is very clean and well stocked. I will be shopping at the new store by the race track because they are clean and don’t have their aisles...

I've never really had anything bad to say about these stores until I left my house today with the intention of buying some cheap headphones to listen to music since I left mine at work. Bought the ones behind the counter, thinking they'd be a better quality, they don't even work. They've obviously been opened and returned before and they just resold them. They don't charge, light up, turn on, nothing. Why would you out something back on a shelf knowing full well its returned because it doesn't work??? Lady nehind the counter was sweet, im sure that wasn't her call, but who's in charge of this stuff? You can't just sell people...
