I took my computer to Keith on Friday, 9/27. I tried to pay the $20 diagnostic fee, up front. Keith said just wait, as he has said in the past. His agreement states he will call after 3 days to tell the results of the diagnostics. Keith called me on a Sunday 9/29. Keith only called to tell me how much I owe him, $140. Then I asked Keith what was wrong with the PC. He said the operating system needed to be reinstalled. He also decided to backup my data and charge me for that.
I asked Keith what happened to the call for diagnostic results. I never authorized him to do any work on my PC. He ignored my question to tell me what he did to the PC.
I complained to BBB. Now he is saying I need counseling and I was disrespectful after he worked hours on my PC. Keith is not telling the truth. I still want to know why Keith did not call to tell me the diagnostic results prior to him completing unauthorized work on my PC. Keith still has not answered that question. He knows he was wrong.
I believe Keith is currently going through financial difficulties. It seems to me he is resorting to ripping off his customers by extorting money from them. Then he lies and defames their character, to cover up for his extortion efforts.
Keith, you are a smart man, there are ways to supplement your income rather extorting money from your customers.
The only thing Keith was authorized to do to my PC was diagnostic. Diagnostics is $20 not $140. The agreement is in writing. He wrote the agreement. He does still have my PC and probably a backup he made of my data. SMH
Today, 10/4/24, once BBB contacted Keith about my complaint, told BBB that he will now delete data off my computer. SMH

A day later I paid 150.00 and got back a computer with a burned out hard drive that was working fine before they got. They even melted the cord. Excuse was something shorted out and caused the damage. No offer to replace or repair the damage. Never going there again!!
No rookie installed anything. Another hole it the wall computer store did the work but could not get fans going. So it seems you are the rookie that did not check connection before powering the unit on. And as you told me 9 months ago there was a short that caused the cable to melt. But yet the unit was powered up before it came your rookie shop and was working fine. Again you offered no reason for the short, no reason for melted cable and no reason why it would no longer power up. And still changed $ 150.00 for burning it up.
