Let me start off by saying that I drove a couple a miles out to get services from this company. Saw they were highly reviewed so I went ahead and went to get a nice residential rock. Nothing too fancy just simple and small. Well this was back in May, it is now almost mid July. Had to call in last month just to check on the status of my order and they told me it would be ready by July 1st. Initially they said 3 weeks, which would of been sometime in June. Called again to check the status and they said they would check what is going on, never did, so I immediately called back and requested a refund. They said they would ask someone who works there I guess, to process that refund. Great. I hope the refund doesn't take as long as the order has. A call would of been nice and said hey, we are going to take longer than expected on your order, would you like to wait or would you like a refund? Or we don't have the item you requested? Whatever the delay, a call would of been nice. I could of found somewhere else to get it done. I would have appreciate it! Now I have to wait who knows how long to get my refund and to find another place to get this work done.
Note to the owners: Please be mindful of your customers. Always follow up and if you can't deliver a product for whatever reason, let them know they can get a refund and follow thru on that refund as well.
UPDATE: They did return my refund on time. Will give an additional star. I like people of their word, but I'm still upset that I didn't...
Read moreGreat experience working with Stone Creations. They went above and beyond to insure delivery before Christmas & the product is top notch.
Due to the mistake made by their employee & the additional inconvenience agreed to ( delayed pickup & taking time off work to meet up with them) Stone Creations indicated they were considering my invoice “paid” . Since I hadn’t heard from them by Dec 23, I again reached out to see if the piece was going to be delivered . After several exchanges with Stone & adjusting of my clients to open up schedules , we drove to a job site in a nearby town & the exchange happened . I then wrote this initial review.
However , 3 days after Christmas ,Stone Creations called asking for additional $$,despite the screen shot I provided, where they previously indicated my invoice was “paid”. The tone of this discussion was very different from previous interactions with the Stone Creations associate indicating they didn’t intend their written communication to mean fully paid. We discussed the full details of the entire transaction. I suggested we both compromise & agree to an amount in the middle. However at the end of the discussion , she would only agree to a $12 credit, on the $80 she was demanding. I paid the difference.
I rarely leave reviews but was initially so impressed . However , this poor customer treatment I received after the product was delivered, completely turned my great experience into one where I would NOT recommend this company...
Read moreBe careful that you are very specific on what you order from this company. What we picked up, today, is not what we thought we ordered. We attended the January First Monday show and ordered a “boulder”, but did not want the flag pole. We thought we were clear when we ordered that we were ordering the full boulder (an actual large rock) for our son’s memorial garden. We weren’t sure what we wanted engraved on the stone when we ordered, so we were given an email address and some helpful websites to visit for fonts and ideas. We emailed our design the 3rd week of January, but did not get any reply until the middle of February with a design that was not what we had sent. We replied and asked about our design, and were told we had to email the “art department”, which was a different email address that what we had been given when we placed our order. What Stone Creations of Texas made us is more like a yard sign, or “tile” stone, but what we ordered and thought we paid for and we’re getting was a “flag boulder without the flag”. Our plans for the landscaping for our son’s memorial will have to be changed, now. This isn’t a problem for Stone Creations of Texas, but it is a problem, and a huge...
