I do like to drop into surf shops when I happen to be in a beach town. When I was in Carpentaria near Santa Claus beach, I popped into the A-Frame Surf shop. They offer *surf boards, *SUPs, *boogey boards, leashes, wax, *wetsuit, swim gear, towels, clothes, hats, sunglasses, and beach gear. They *rent out gear. Also what sets them apart from typical surf shops is that they offer lessons (all ages) and summer camps for kids.

Read moreCalled and asked if the water was calm, replied "yes, it's very calm today". Reality: huge waves. Paddle boards are very old, paddles are flimsy. Had to carry very far back in order to access the beach. Paid for 4 hours, came back after 1 and a half because there was a shark near the beach and everyone had to evacuate the water. No one gave a refund and pretended like the shark out there was a completely normal thing, made us look stupid.
Sorry to leave such a negative review, but this is exactly what happened and I wish you guys were more helpful. At least open the beach access in the back and walk people out across the tracks. It's a pain to have to walk half a mile...
