Have Ewe Any Wool Yarn Shop — Local services in Town of Amherst

Mack (my dog) and I visited Have Ewe Any Wool yarn store today. This is a great yarn shop that has a wonderful variety of yarn. Had some local yarn, yarn from companies I had never heard of, and then the mass produced finer quality yarn. They seemed to have at least one item that will meet the requirements of any pattern. With no pattern in mind it took me forever to decide what would satisfy my yarn addiction for that day. Being from Southern Maryland I finally decided on something I couldn't find at home. One of their knitted samples sold me on the BAAH Savannah. A wonderfully squishy hand dyed yarn. Thanks to the welcoming friendly staff member that explained the store layout and patiently presented a variety of yarns while I tried to decide. Good times. And worth the 8 hours from Southern...

The best yarn shop in Buffalo, hands down! I found this shop because I was looking for yarn composed of natural fibers, not wool-acrylic or cotton-acrylic blends like Michael’s and Joanne’s have. I was blown away by the wide selection of beautiful natural yarn this shop boasts. The owner, Ben, is also incredibly kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable, and is willing to help with even the silliest questions/ issues. He even ordered me a specific color of yarn I wanted, and coordinated with me to have it picked up on a day he’s normally closed. This is the only place I’ll be buying my yarn in...

Ben is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. There hasn’t been a single mistake he couldn’t fix and/or a pattern he couldn’t figure out. He can suggest different yarns to use for a pattern. FYI- he can actually produce the pattern for most all samples in the store. There is a variety of yarn ( color, yardage, price) for every knitter/crocheter. A big mistake if you do not stop in to take a look for yourself and an even bigger mistake if you do not purchase the yarn you like because it will not be there when...
