What a great experience! Dad and I went for lunch and had the spring rolls with hoisin plum sauce as an appetizer. Dad had the pad thai with chicken, which he said was delicious, and I had the pineapple rice chicken, which was also delicious! The food arrived in fairly short order.
We took away one star because when we arrived at the restaurant, the staff was nowhere to be seen. We could hear employees chatting in the back, in the kitchen, and they do have door chimes to alert staff when customers come and go. That said, we waited for 3 minutes (timed it!), and no one showed up to seat us. We then before decided to seat ourselves, and then our being seated attracted one of the worker's attention. Once they arrived in the dining room, the staff was friendly overall, but they need to be present to welcome customers as they arrive in their restaurant. As my dad said, we could have walked out with the cash register and no one would have...
Read moreWas excited to try this place as it had great reviews and were willing to pay a slight premium for it.
The location looks great, it's beautiful. Was incredibly disappointed by the food portion though and quality. Somehow spent $40 on 2 meals, paying extra for rice on the side, and got 4 tiny pieces of chicken that were overcooked and not that great. Even the sauce given with the chicken was a 30% filled tiny plastic container.
On the other meal, the tofu was incredibly overcooked and didn't have much flavor. There was maybe 1 or 2 small pieces of broccoli. Had we not gotten rice on the side (paying $5 extra for 2), we would have both still been incredibly hungry and somehow still spending $30+
Confused by these other reviews honestly, maybe it's better when dining in? Bummed out because we thought we found our new favorite spot upon first...
Read moreGood food, good prices, good location. This is me and my boyfriend's most frequently visited restaurant here in Buffalo. I like how they got rid of the long bench seating to make room for more tables since it is a small are to begin with. They have small staff but all seem very friendly and attentive (even the waitress I had on her first day of serving). You can tell the food is fresh and you can see right into the "kitchen" which is basically in the dining room itself. The only negative with this restaurant is their lack of explanations on the menu. The menu is up on a chalk board with prices and choice of protein, but since the names are Thai I have to look up on my phone what exactly they are so I'm not blindly ordering. Everything is...
