On 6/28/25, we returned to the store just two hours after purchasing a Pax Plus unit that turned out to be defective right out of the box. The manager, Thomas—who had assisted us earlier in the day—immediately began inspecting the device and questioning us as if we were attempting to return a different item or commit fraud. At this point he had yet to ask for my name or receipt, despite the fact that each Pax device has a serial number engraved in it. There were multiple ways to verify the purchase before making such insinuations.

His reasoning? The device “smelled like bud”—which, of course, it did, because we attempted to use it as intended. To make matters worse, he then told us the store doesn’t handle exchanges for third-party items and proceeded to search for basic troubleshooting tips online, as if we hadn’t already done that before making the trip back.

This policy was never communicated at checkout, nor is it listed on your website. Whether this was due to personal bias or a standard approach, the experience was disrespectful and disappointing.

At the end of the interaction, he apologized if it came across that way and offered a pre-roll as a gesture for the inconvenience, but the overall experience still left a bad impression.

The staff here is nice and never had any issues until recently. I purchased a few items and went to open one in the car and one of the cartridge's I received was empty .. I noticed within seconds of leaving the store. Like any other customer would I immediately went back in to show the employees just asking for a refund or an exchange. The manager was nice and told me they were going to fix it and apologized. Then after a few mins of waiting one of manager proceeds to hand me a random cartridge and walks away like nothing happened and didn't even say anything . When I asked what was happening with the cartridge I paid for I was told theirs nothing he can do. After being offered to choose a few cartridges that were worth way less than the one I purchased I asked for a refund as it seemed like the simplest and fairest option. I was then told that was not an option. So long story short I bought an empty box and they refused to give me a refund nor let me choose what I wanted to replace the cartridge I bought.
