We were informed flax linen would be, not only a more comfortable fabric on his skin, but it also has medicinal properties for cancer patients. After hours of searching for something I've never heard of, I came across the only website, "Fabric Wholesale Direct," to carry this material. I first emailed with many questions. By 6 am same morning, Adam responded. Its been many years since I had sewn at all. Adam understood tbe position I was in and guided me where to look within the site. Now, I had no clue which linen was the 100% flax. So I called and Michael answered. As confused and shook up as I was, Michael walked me to the exact material I was looking for. Not only that, he took the time to explain to me the differences between the blended and the 100%. I have never had such an experience with the most considerate and knowledgeable represrntatives in all my 68 years. The 13 yards of material I ordered, arrived within a week. The colors I chose were absolutely beautiful and vibrant. Each piece was neatly folded and packaged. I have already shared my experience with many online connections who also sew. This company is near perfect. Their cuts are never questionable. I always check since many places online and in store plus others cut so close if it’s folded wrong while cutting or any other problem you end up without your full order that you paid for. It’s just recently happened to me. The down side with this fabric company is the shipping is slow due to so many store's closing. But if you can wait 2 weeks for your order, it’s worth shopping every need. I have faith it will get better.

I’ve been buying 1 yards of this and that just to find my way around to see what kind of quality they have and so far, I have not been disappointed on anything else. And I would say that was a victory. They stand behind their goods and the customer care is excellent. Customer Service or order desk contacts you every few days to let you know the status of your shipping so you’re not just dropped off and forgotten about. It might be slow, but you know about it.

I have been following fwd on there site for a while now. I love their site, the pictures are high quality where you can get a sense of a fabrics texture and well lit. What I really appreciate, though, are their fabric descriptions and brief demo videos for each fabric. They have so many beautiful, well priced fabrics. Fwd is the complete package, as best as I could tell from following them online. So, recently I pulled the trigger and ordered a dozen swatches of my favorites. They did not disappoint. The fabric quality is great on each and every fabric, the color ways are very true to what I saw online. The swatches, themselves, I love! They are all uniform in size and matched to a cardboard, foldover card which has all the descriptive information. The form factor screams, "...I'm valued. Put me in a binder. Retain me. Organize me." 😁 So smart from a business perspective. I had ordered swatches from another online retailer at the same time and the difference is night and day.
