Shroomy's Game Store — Local services in Town of Bethlehem

I was visiting family in the area and stumbled upon this store. I found that they had a used 3DS game that my spouse was looking for at a reasonable price.

Previously, I had been a bit spooked from old 3DS games simply not working anymore (from two Gamestop stores), so I asked them what would happen if the game did not work, because I was not sure if I would be back for at least 3-4 weeks, which would normally be outside most stores' return policy duration. The owner told me to call the store as soon as I got home if the game didn't work, and they would work something out (like leaving a note in their files for my return visit). Fortunately, the game did work (and still does), but I am appreciative that the owner was flexible on this. I was totally not expecting the gesture!

The store itself is a clean and organized. Besides video games, they have a growing section for Magic the Gathering product and singles as well as Pokemon product and singles.

Recently decided to sell all of my retro games and consoles and stumbled upon this shop in glenmont. The owner is super chill and knowledgeable and I genuinely enjoyed taking it up with him. Very fair pricing for the retro games I sold and his inventory is more than fairly priced. (Sold a bunch of sega Saturn games and Pokémon cards)

What I loved about this store is the community engagement the owner is doing with meets and tournaments. A lot of retro stores are in the business just to flip things and make a profit but you can genuinely tell this owner cares about his product and the community he’s apart of now. Some big dreams coming to fruition here!

This is a new business!!! And is located right on 9w in Glenmont. Right near romos (which btw has incredible food and service also, so grab grub while you visit)

First, we felt welcomed as soon as we stepped in! The shop is clean and stocked nicely! The selection is incredible! I've been searching for a Dreamcast for a while and they had one!!

They're very knowledgeable about each and every thing they sell. Great variety in games and we were even able to get our Nintendo restored! It came out fantastic.

I would 100% recommend this store! It's truly a Glenmont gem! So lets keep them...
