Unprofessional, unhelpful and unknowledgeable. As i'm trying to explain my issue he walks away into the kitchen and clearly did not understand my problem after i tried to explain it. His first issue was to immediately start taking apart my PC instead of connecting to a monitor so he can see the issue I was having. He was not careful at all with my PC components and I had to tell him how to reinstall the ram he took out as he attempted to install it backwards which could break it. He thought the issue was with the CPU fan speed controller- an error that the BIOS displays when you use a liquid cooler while it expects an air cooler, my PC uses a liquid cooler and all he needed to do to get past that step was to ignore fan speed in BIOS- which he didnt do. After politely trying again to explain my issue he still does not listen. He thought the LCD screen on my AIO pump displaying a red triangle was an issue- that is a completely normal thing to see after unplugging the PC while its on- with an obviously 3rd party power cable. After he was unable to help me he kicks me out and gets mad that I should want to put the PC back together by myself before I leave to not lose any of the pieces he took out. When i asked to borrow his screwdriver quickly he replies with 'you can go buy your own and fix it yourself' well I can at least thank him for that advice because I am typing this on my PC that I fixed at home by myself after leaving his house...
Yes I was upset that you touched the PC you were not handling the parts carefully and tried installing the RAM backwards, set the heavy PC leaning on two chairs and were very aggressive handling the PC when I was trying to leave. I came to you because you invited me on the phone after I explained my issue to you over the phone and even while I was there you didnt listen when I tried to explain the issue I was having. My PC uses a liquid cooler- you reset the BIOS settings which defaults to relying on CPU cooler fan speed to start up- in order to get past that you needed to change a BIOS settings- an error that would not have occurred if the BIOS settings weren't reset. The red triangle on the corsair h150 AIO pump screen is completely normal to see after unplugging the machine I even showed you that on power up the screen turns on and displays what it should. I came to you because of your positive reviews and your invitation over the phone which to me indicated that you heard my issue and believed yourself capable of helping me. You need to learn to listen to your customers and treat them with respect- i was polite and trying to help...
Read moreI had a terrible, terrible experience working with Zeev. He was supposed to fix my keyboard, which in end resulted in me losing ALL of my photos. When I came to pick up the computer, the hard drive was not inside the computer. Zeev went to retrieve the hard drive from somewhere and popped it back in, assuring me that “everything was exactly the same” and “all of the photos are there”. I had taken this for granted, as he was fixing my KEYBOARD. He also told me that he loved my computer so much that he spent 6 hours surfing the web on it. And that in the future he would do all of my computer work for free. Oi vey.
Anyways, I got home and all of my photos were gone from the computer, and the history was wiped clean. I called Zeev and he assured me they were there, and that he could locate them, I just needed to come back to his house and leave the computer again. I obviously did not feel comfortable doing so, so I found a new tech person, who scanned the whole computer and the photos were not there. Zeev then called the POLICE, apparently he must have a friend working for BPD, and I was literally blackmailed by a police officer not to write a bad review, because he needed to “protect Zeev’s business”. Seriously?! Is this not a free country where I can write bad reviews? And who is protecting my property rights to my photos? I lost all of the photos of my artwork for my business, and my travels around the United States in my van. For all I know Zeev could still have the photos, but I never saw them again. My dad went to try to retrieve them, and Zeev “could not locate them.”
This was a year and a half ago, and I finally feel empowered enough to write this review, because I do not want this to happen to other people! It frightens me to know what other personal information Zeev could have stolen off of my computer. It is important to find a tech person with good ethics, because they have access to ALL of your information. I never thought getting my keyboard fixed could result in such a bad situation- but clearly Zeev does not have respect for his clients. Especially young women, please, do not leave your computers with Zeev! I was never returned my money or photos. Watch out, his five star reviews are probably because the police blackmailed...
Read moreUpdated response from 2/2023 - Zeev assisted with malfunctioning Asus computer touchscreen. TLDR: responded within few hours, fixed computer within 5 minutes, charged me nothing. Short review doesn't capture everything. In this digital age, it's so easy to make transaction after transaction without ever having a human interaction. I'm sure Zeev can deliver this if this is the life you want. For me, I enjoyed meeting a professional who is passionate about their work, explains thought processes about computer diagnostics, and shares the occasional interesting story from an interesting life. Got a computer fixed and a breath of fresh air.
2022 - I could not be happier with my experience with Dragon CT. In fact, I am not someone to write reviews. But it seems the least I could do to support an incredibly professional, competent, prompt, and congenial business owner who far exceeded expectations. Problem: dropped Asus Zenbook shattering touchscreen. Called a few companies in town and was told by all that it would be at least five days before they could even evaluate the computer. Zeev came to my house WITHIN one hour of the phone call. He evaluated and ordered the necessary screen, but he also devised a solution that allowed me to use the laptop without the touchscreen functionality while we waited for the part to come in. He communicated very clearly that, should I not care about cosmetics, the computer actually required no fix. When the screen arrived, he again came within hours of the delivery (on a weekend, since it was more convenient for me!) and installed the screen, which works perfectly.
