Green Magic Smoke Shop — Local services in Town of Brookhaven

So my wife and I have been coming to this place since it opened. They have a nice selection of cannabis and cannabis products. The staff is normally warm and welcoming. However this past weekend an incident occurred which forever tainted my opinion of them and how they do business. Just as a precursor, my wife has Multiple Sclerosis and does not always process information as fast as a normal person. We’ve been coming to green magic for the last few months about twice a month for both ciggs and pot. We easily were spending about 1000 bucks a month at this place. We went this past weekend and my wife ran in to buy cigarettes and after spending over 600 dollars as she’s walking out she’s approached by an employee and accused of passing over fake 100 dollar bills the previous time we were there. This accusation was made with no proof and immediately after one employee began speaking with my wife another 3 came and surrounded her saying they “know” it was us and that whatever stoner employee pointed out my wife has an “excellent” memory. My wife not knowing what do asked what they expected from her and they told her if she wanted to make it right she could give them 200 bucks to cover their loss. To the management: You offered no proof with your accusation and until you can provide it I will not be paying anything more than I already have. With the amount of dispensary’s and cigarette stores at the res, if I had knowingly passed fake money over and gotten away with it why on earth would I come back to you? If the money did come from our hands why wasn’t it checked then and there? As we didn’t know it was fake since we get our money from the bank I would have given you the proper money and went back to my bank with the fakes they gave me. Since your employee did not do their job and check the bills for authenticity, you accepted the form of payment and it is now on your business to cover the loss. Since you approached my wife without me present(remember your staff has amazing memory’s so you guys would have to know we normally come in as a couple) and offer no proof of your accusation, I will not be...

This one star review is based off their giving out free prerolls to new customers. Let me say I get higher off tobacco than this free weed. I don't get the point of that, you're supposed to give out fire weed and that will, in theory, keep people coming back for more. I just started going to this place this last week. They have a huge selection of THC products. And they have variations on those products so you're not always having the same thing over and over again. I bought cigarettes for the first time from them yesterday and they were a lot cheaper than the place I normally go to, so I won't be going there anymore. The store is well designed and money was put into making it a premiere location. There is a clear difference between this place and every other place on the reservation.
