Caledonia Marketplace — Local services in Town of Caledonia

This grocery store is extremely overpriced I can go up to the Dollar Store and get the same product and more of the product for less money and they are selling off brands for more money than they do name brand they go out of their way to buy smaller portions so they can price gouge you not recommended maybe if you're going for one or two things otherwise I'll go to Walmart or Dollar General right up the street might spend a couple more dollars in gas but it's well worth it overall you'll probably save yourself quite a bit of money and the staff makes my family and I very uncomfortable every time you go in they don't say hi they just sit there and stare at you uncomfortably I had to say stuff to the staff members repeatedly for following my kids around the store I raise my kids properly and not to steal so I went in there one day watch my kids walk around and and the staff started following them peeking around corners watching so I confronted the staff member and ask what they are doing they said they were stealing I called my kids over I said which one of them but this one put something in their pockets and told my kid to empty their pockets there is nothing in there but I seen him put it in their pocket I had all my kids emptied their pockets I told the staff member now you owed them an apology you got snotty and walked away hell with that place between the price gouging and making people feel uncomfortable it's...

Was out this way for one of my kids games. Needed to pick up some quick items and found this little store.

It was well stocked and clean but Barely anybody in there. Unfortunately I would never be able to shop there again with how high the prices are. I wish I could support local businesses but it is just unaffordable to do so. Prices for things were double that of WalMart with smaller sizes. Which probably explains why I was pretty much the only one in the store. $6 for a bag of shredded cheese that was a smaller size than one that cost $2.98 at walmart.

It is worth stopping in if you can afford to. Their produce was really nice and fresh as well and meat was definitely a better quality then that of a chain store.. Older lady at checkout was not so friendly though, lol.

Unfortunately, I highly doubt a normal family on a normal income would be able to grocery shop here on a regular basis. There's a couple reasons why I don't like the marketplace one is due to one of the really snobby older managers she is very rude and very Snappy with everybody and is always miserable so it makes it really uncomfortable when she's there and so it makes it so that you do not want to visit there on top of the really high prices I would deal with the high prices due to its convenience as long as they would show the manager lady how to be happy at her job or just plain get rid of her mean self she has said some very mean comments in the past yelled at my kids for doing something when they were with me when another group of kids were doing something and she thought it was my kids and I explained to her that that was a different group of kids cuz my kids were with me going through the store and she continued to argue with me I really hope she quits or gets...
