Absolutely horrible. My mom has gone through so much since having trusted Home Depot in Leeds, NY. She had her vinyl flooring installed by the sublet company home depot provided. They did a very poor job. There are spots where there are gaps between the flooring, multiple spots all around the floor where the guy left nails or screws, now those spots are starting to bulge, and one looks like it will peel back soon.Those started to show months after installation. The guy glued the floor dividers instead of nailing them down, now one has come off. It looks like home depot just hired the cheapest people they could find. Not too long after the floors were installed, she had gotten appliances from home depot (wish she hadn't.) The guys that home depot provided for the delivery 1) couldn't install them because home depot didn't put it on the bill? 2) scuffed up her porch 3) damaged her antique china cabinet 4) took a chunk of sheet rock out of her newly painted wall. She contacted home depot, and they contacted insurance and said my mom had to take pictures. UM NO that is not her job, they should have sent someone. So after those bulges appeared, she contacted them again. They transferred her 6 times before just sending her to a voicemail. Nobody, no manager is ever available to talk. So unprofessional. Then when finally someone answered the phone, a non manager, she said they were going to take care of this, contact insurance, and the people who installed the flooring would come out and look at floor. They lied! It has been three weeks now, she had tried calling back to them again, and they do the same transfer around the whole store until it reaches a voicemail. My mother even heard two employees say about her "Its that same lady again" when they were about to transfer the phone somewhere else. She has been treated so poorly by the Home Depot in Leeds, NY. I would never suggest to go there. After this all occurred, we told a family friend what she was going through, and they told us how they had gotten their front living room window with home depot, Leeds, NY. And how home depot had sent out people to do the measurements, and when the window had gotten delivered the window was off by about 6 inches! Home depot wasn't going to fix it, and somehow it wasn't their fault? They ended up getting what they wanted, and should have. I wish my mother had gone with Lowe's, I've had great experiences in the past with them. "Dillion" - tries to make fool of you, unnecessarily wasting your time- giving 5 to 6 phone numbers to call for nothing. "Jennifer"- tries to give you a missed call and has no clue of the matter. Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied by the Catskill home depot 's response to a wrongful delivery of a GE refrigerator done on September 15th 2023 afternoon. One of the delivery guy was too aggressive and did not listen to a refusal and literally forced the delivery , breaking one side of my kitchen cabinet, even his co worker was saying that it will not fit in the cabinet. The delivery person said call them in 48 hrs they will take it back. I called and reported the incident to MDO immediately after they left ..They asked me to call the store to over ride and return the refrigerator . I met them in Home Depot saturday September 16, 2023, they said you will get a call Monday. Since then Home Depot is not being transparent about anything and seems to make me do the run around. Today after not been able to reach the store manager or has her return my calls, we finally met her in the store. Read moreWent there to buy a sink fixture we saw online ON THE CATSKILL HOME DEPOT STORE site. I wanted to see it in person before purchasing. We asked a man who worked there to help us get it and his response was rude and told us to find someone else. We got the sink down and went to check out and they would not honor the online price. They told us it was a different store, I showed them it was Catskill NY. They would not honor it so I bought it online and went to get it at the customer service desk. The lady would not let us leave the store stating that her computer said we still owed payment when I had the receipt on my phone. Another lady came to help and said we were all set and she figured it out but the original lady would not give us the fixture and told us we had to wait til the bank proceeded the payment. WE USED OUR HOME DEOPT CARD. After we stated how ridiculous this process was she said they don’t price match and can’t honor online prices (False).
