Ocean State Job Lot — Local services in Town of Clifton Park

Haven’t been to Ocean State Job Lots for 7 years. I used to buy my art supplies & socks here. My sister use to get her garden supplies here. Now, there’s a lot of food: dressings, olive oils, pasta & sauces, chocolate, chips, nuts … more than I expected for a close-out store. My guy found a decent pair of rip-stop fabric, multi-pocket shorts in his size for $15. The Crazy Deals are great if you already planned to buy something. Today, the $15 Crazy Deal: buy a $15 backpack, give it to the store, they fill it w/school supplies & give to someone in need. You get $15 back in a store card for use on a return trip. After our dog threw up on our gorgeous new rug less than 6 mo after buying it, we decided to go with an indoor outdoor rug. Got one here for cheap, and looking at it, I don't think you'd be able to tell it's not a regular indoor rug. But bonus--next time there was a doggy accident, we just hosed it off and it was good as new!

I was blessed to meet customer service representatives Tina and Jenny at the Clifton Park location. I was need of assistance as I had my elderly (97 year old) momma with me. These women were the BEST retail personnel I have ever encountered in my 56 years. They were kind, compassionate, and lovingly handled the situation. I was brought to tears; that’s how impressive these employees are! I will shop at the Clifton Park store as my primary location from now on, just knowing that it employs such amazing people.
