Shing Fung House Chinese — Restaurant in Town of Clifton Park

My family and I have ordered from this place since moving to Clifton Park 5 years ago myself yet my family has ordered from their for many years prior. Possibly since they opened. We have always had good customer service there and the food has always been amazing to the point where I will travel to get it as opposed to having Chinese food delivered from another company. Tonight we ordered something simple. 1 pint of general tsao's chicken and 1 point of sweet-and-sour chicken. After getting home, my fiance went to serve our 4 children Only to find that there were 2 pints of general tsao's chicken, 2 pints of white rice that we did not order and no sweet-and-sour chicken. I went back to get the sweet-and-sour chicken and was greeted by a young girl behind the counter who was very polite and courteous but when she Turn around to ask someone else about the issue, a man came up to the counter with my order and basically slammed it in front of my face, borderline throwing it at me. I did not say anything at this point and began to tell the man that my order was completely messed up and explain how. After I explained this to him, he said, "yeah, I know. That's OK." and started to walk away . I said excuse me, it is not OK, this is an inconvenience for me and he basically said he knew and wassorry about that and walked away again. How he offered me a small discount, a full refund or even a free 2 liter of soda I would have been OK but his complete ignorance on the situation has caused me to never return to...

We have been mostly going here fore takeout. It ended up being a step up from our closer place. Portions are solid and they're pretty fast(even on busy days). And the spicy dishes actually are mildly spicey! Could go up a notch but at least its there. All in all its a great spot to get food. They have tables and seating but...it's a take out shop. Not really much for dine in. Happily due to the location you are a short walk to dollar tree, price chopper or the liquor store nearby! So the 15-20 min wait goes fast ;) . Took one star off due to a slight inconsistency sometimes with quality. Last order had wonton that was pastey textured and their wings are ... not always "wing" shaped,...

It’s really hard to find a good Chinese place and my husband found Yummy Yummy in Mechanicville. However, they’re closed on Tuesdays so my husband and I found this place on google. A good sign that a restaurant is good is if they’re not on any food delivery platforms because they don’t need that exposure. And this place does not need that exposure. The food is so fresh and tasty. It’s even better than Yummy Yummy. Their boneless bbq ribs are chef’s kiss and my husband raved about their pork fried rice. The spring rolls are really crispy.
