The owners are usually polite, however today I stopped by and purchased some discounted seltzer priced at $18.99 on sale. At the register it rang up to $21.99 + $1.76 tax. I asked the cashier to clarify, and he claimed that the reason the base price was $21.99 (instead of $18.99 like advertised) was due to "taxes and bottle fees". I felt this was disingenuous dismissal of the obvious issue; however, I simply paid what I was told I owed and left.
