Used to come here for wings over a decade ago. Many times and always loved it. First time back in forever and tried the wings and cheddar burger. Fast service even though the bartender was the waiter and the food came out nice and hot. Burger was juicy, good and cooked as asked. The wings were as good as I remembered though the medium seemed hot to me. Excellent heat, the kind that has flavor so you enjoy it more. Worth the trip if you are thinking of a burger and wings for lunch or dinner.

This is a local staple in Troy. Nothing fancy about it. Might be the best wings in the Capital District. Absolutely top three. They also have a phenomenal cheeseburger. The menus are not huge but what's on there is delicious both beer and food. If you've never been it's definitely a place you need to check out for a burger and wings.

We had lunch here for the first time after living blocks away for a year. What a hidden gem. The food is AMAZoR! My bloody Mary was super delish, so delish I didn't take a pic. Next time. We will be back! We ordered the corn beef sandwich, clams and a salad. Yum-O. Also the guy behind the bar is really nice too.

Oh, The Ale House, how we love thee. This local establishment has the best chicken wings in town, rivaled perhaps only by The Ruck. Their "Suicidal" wings option really scratches the itch for you Chili heads. Even more incredible is the Paulaner Hefeweisen that flows straight from the tap into a traditional glass on the rustic wooden bar. A back dining area accommodates groups or children/family, but the bar itself is warm, hearty, and full of salty talk they can't handle up the road at Recovery Room. What The Ale House lacks in an overwhelming audio visual array, they more than make up for with charm, and attention to what matters most: cold drafts,...

Ok so the word "Dive" may have actually originated right here. But it is glorious. The wings are great, they always have a few interesting beers on tap, and the Thursday thru Sunday specials yield some pretty refined pub grub. Every once in a while they do a short rib special that rivals any over priced white table clothe joint. And if that's not enough the owners mother makes the carrot cake. Now when you first walk into this place you will ask yourself who the hell would ever eat carrot cake in here? I will end my review on this observation, tell your inner self to stop asking too many questions and order the 'effing...

First time going to the Ale House. A friend of mine works here from time to time and I've been meaning to try it out. I they are known for they're wings and great fish n chips. I have not had either - YET - I had a growler that needed filling and they for sure assisted me it's my growler. They don't have growlers there but you can bring your own in. The atmospheric is very intimate and that "homey" feeling. Certainly a place I can't wait to go back to, to try the food. I will review Ale House again when I...
