UPDATE: as of May 2024 I am changing my previous 5 stars to 1 star after my traumatizing experience today at this location. I brought my Jeep for it's first scheduled maintenance which is required for the additional warranty coverage I was sold. at the time I was sold this warranty, I was told my first TWO scheduled maintenance visits were INCLUDED. I was also told, over text, my broken key fob would be addressed, which turned out to be another dishonest sales tactic.
when I scheduled my appointment via email over a month ago, I was never made aware of any outstanding charges. after my oil change appointment today I was told I had an outstanding balance of $130 and that the two included services only applied to brand new vehicles. I was obviously completely unaware of this and I told the cashier, Theresa, I didn't have that amount because I just paid all my bills and don't get another check until next week. I was completely blindsided by ANY amount, but such a high cost for an oil change was even more concerning. she immediately decided to loudly embarrass me and got incredibly defensive, at which point the service manager stepped in, only he did not deescalate the situation. he called me a liar and told me "I'd better make some calls and find a credit card". at this point Theresa was shreiking, turned to her boss and said "you'd better get her out of here right (expletive) now", she then got out of her chair and charged at me, only stopping when the male employee physically restrained her. I immediately went outside and called 911, being chased by the male sales manager, Jim. he decided to lie to the police about what happened but then "agreed to waive the fee" after he finally spoke to the salespeople who offered me this incentive.
after today, not only will I never return to this dealership, I will make sure to tell everyone I know and had previously recommended about this treatment, and I will also be pursuing my legal options against the violent and unhinged female cashier in the service department, Theresa, who thinks she can just retaliate physically against disabled people completely unprovoked. I also attempted to contact Elijah in the warranty department who made a comment about the loan cosigner, a family member I don't speak to, who was apparently emailing him and then hung up on me with no further explanation, so that was completely pointless and very confusing, but shows how little their care about their actual customers. this was a simple and probably easily resolved miscommunication which they chose to escalate instead of addressing appropriately, as if I didn't just purchase an almost brand new car six months ago. they only want your money and will tell you whatever you need to hear to get it from you. I hope Theresa is held accountable by the dealership, but the fact that she is comfortable acting this way to customers tells me this isn't the first or last time this will happen. be careful not to upset her or next time her boss might not be around to egg her on and then...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLearn from my mistakes - if youāre going to leave a payment to secure a deal make sure the sales agreement is completely filled out first before leaving a non refundable $500 payment or anything down. I got my car a few days ago and my main issue was I was to lied to over a few hundred dollars.
John my salesman told me taxes, registration, plates, first month will be the down payment for my car lease. I put a non refundable $500 down to secure the deal. I noticed on the sales agreement - the areas labeled were left blank and when I asked him about it he told me the sales manager wasnāt in to confirm the tax price but donāt worry itāll be around 3k -3400 total with first month and the other fees. I trusted him, because I spoke to him a bunch of times already so I put the non refundable $500 down. I also was going to get a second car this week for my wife, so I figured they would want to continue to do good business with me.
The next day , I returned my current lease down the road and went to jeep to pick up my new car. When I meet the sales manager the remaining cost ended up being over 3k and I was confused because I already put $500 down and John told me itāll be around $3-3400. The salesman broke down the fees and taxes, first month, registration, etc came out to a little under 3k. When I asked about the additional $8-900, he told me thatās what Iām putting down out of pocket for the deal.
John knew I didnāt want to put anything out of pocket as I told him this countless times over the last few months as he has been communicating with me to find me a deal I like. I called and texted John about the out of pocket money because he was not in the day I got my vehicle (coincidence ?) but unfortunately he hasnāt returned my call or text since I got my vehicle. (He always responded to calls and text prior to this - (he must not want to explain the $8-900 added to closing cost).
Itās my understanding the dealership should contact the customer within 48 hrs of purchasing a new vehicle, no one has contacted me.
I had to get the car because I already returned my lease and it wasnāt the sales managers fault because my salesman wasnāt in that day. If the phones are recorded , Iām sure the owner or manager can listen to the phone call from when John and I spoke and he told me the deal first over the phone, which is why I came in that day.
All together I was charged $8-900 on top of the taxes, registration, plates, first month. I was even asked to give a great review to Jeep because they get additional bonuses. I had to be truthful in my review to Jeep, same way Iām being truthful here.

I would think, they wouldāve preferred a loyal customer that wanted to purchase an additional vehicle the same week. I canāt continue business with people that do...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOnce again I'm compelled to write a review for Bill Volz, a dealership for Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge in my area. Before I get into this, let me say that I've owned more than 10 new cars in just the last 13 years, not to mention helping friends with their car purchases. As something of an enthusiast, I've become adept at weeding out the bad dealerships and sticking with the good ones. No matter how rigorous the management might be, in the final analysis the quality of the dealership is almost entirely about the sales people and the service. Nothing else really matters and nothing can compensate for having a weak sales staff. A few years ago, while looking at trading up to a Grand Cherokee, I wandered into the Bill Volz dealership and met Shari. I admit that I took a somewhat adversarial stance, ready to chip down prices and battle over options. But as I've written in a previous review, Shari had no interest in acting like a sales-shark. Instead she made every attempt to listen to my needs and even suggest other options that were LESS costly. She knew the cars and wasn't afraid to discuss my opinions and impressions on the cars. THIS is how you sell cars! Know your product and listen to the customer with sincere consideration and you'll get the return business. About a year after buying the Grand Cherokee Overland I went back to her for a '14 Wrangler. And just a year after that, and only a few days ago, I gave her a deposit for a Charger SRT 392. So long as the 392 deal goes without any hitches I'll have spent a good bit of cash with them, but Shari is the reason why I shop at Bill Volz. I don't even bother with other dealers now, at least not for Jeep or Dodge. I've also dealt with Joe to handle finance options, yet another solid person who knows the products and talks straight. Believe me, these are not common qualities in this business and that's why I'm bringing my best friend in for a new Van in a week or so. So perhaps you're reading this and wondering how good the "dealership" really is. All I can say is that any dealership is only as good as the staff. When you walk through those doors all that matters is the person you speak to and how well you're treated. Fancy websites, giveaways, social media and all the rest mean less than zero if you can't make that first handshake and impression count. If only all dealerships could learn this! So the bottom line? This is a solid dealership, and while I like to compliment Shari, she's always quick to insist that there are other great people working with her. I have no reason to doubt that this is true. After I get the 392 I'll post a followup.
Less than a year later and we traded our SRT 392 for a Hellcat. This dealership is simply terrific and just one day before the blizzard hits they also sold us a wonderful Jeep Cherokee. That's 5 cars and counting. This is the kind of dealer that will work hard to make you happy and knows the...
