First time was impressive, second time was ok, third time…wasn’t a charm. First time - the Buffalo calamari offered a hot kick and great crunch, fried green tomatoes - a must have appetizer and the Nachos were sooo good topped with pulled pork (not pictured). Be sure to order the sweetened iced tea! Jeffrey was attentive and very insightful! Would order all the items again! Second time - jambalaya and chicken and waffles! (Not pictured) Both were ok overall. The fried chicken had a thin fried crunch and the waffle was dense! Good to try them, but won’t order them again. Third time - Fried green tomatoes - always a must have appetizer. Pictured below, they were deeper fried than usual. Grits casserole - a hearty dish, perhaps meant to be shared as the butter and melted cheese are very heavy Crab cake Benedict- light buttery Hollandaise was delicious a top a perfectly poached egg. The crab cake is not lump crab and is filled with lots peppers and onions. Home fries offer a happy crunch to a savory meal. Overall, definitely still worth a visit!

Lovely restaurant, customer service is pleasant and welcoming, atmosphere very relaxing, I love we did not feel rushed. The food is good with good portions. My daughter didn't quite like her waffle but enjoed the chicken that came with it but was confused as she thought it would be bone in chicken pieces or a chicken breast. She also fell in love with the corn bread and enjoyed the wings, though she thought they could use some seasoning prior to the sauce. I really loved the chicken empanadas, I wish I could eat more as I was eyeing the brisket meal. I most certainly will be back.

We had dinner at Savannah & Co on Valentine's Day. The appetizer of Fried Green Tomatoes was beautifully presented and delicious. The crab cakes were tasty but seemed to have more fillers than actual crab. Our entrees included the Chicken Fried Steak and Jambalaya. The presentation of the Chicken Fried Steak was plain, and the taste only fair. The Jambalaya was fine. Desserts of Peach Cobbler and Cookie Skillet Sundae were beautifully presented and delicious. Service was excellent.

Food is very dry & not edible. We came across this restaurant & decided to give it try. My husband & I stopped by for lunch. I couldn't wait to try it. The restaurant is very nicely decorated inside & outside. Looks very charming & quaint. Reminded us of the restaurants down south.

We were the only ones there at the time. I ordered the brisket sandwich along with a choice of a side salad. My husband ordered the pulled pork sandwich & chili.

They served us some biscuits & cornbread. Both were extremely dry & not edible.

The plated dishes were served & the food looked great. The sandwiches looked great, served on a fresh brioche bun...yum....so far it looks promising.

My husband took a bite of the chili and I could see that it looked rather dry. I always have seen chili moist, not dry. My husband gave me a taste. It was very tasty....but not moist...a bit on the dry side. I looked at his pulled pork & that also looked dry. Well it was. My husband had to add plenty of BBQ sauce to the sandwich so he wouldn't choke on it.

My salad was good. However, my brisket sandwich was entirely something else. Instead of the meat being thinly sliced, it was cut up thickly. The meat was chewy, tough & dry. I couldn't eat it. I had my husband taste it & he couldn't chew on it either. It was probably the worst brisket sandwich I've ever had. I brought it to the waitress' attention & her suggestion was for me to add BBQ sauce to my sandwich. I didn't want to smother the sandwich with additional BBQ sauce. I asked her if they had any meat juices from the brisket that I could dip in. She got some but it looked so funky I couldn't use it. Needless to say that I am of the opinion that this was the end's tail of the brisket that was used. In other words, recycled meat. It was unfortunately that bad!

Bottom line, my sandwich was totally inedible & I told her so. She asked me if I would like to choose something else, but informed her I didn't. She didn't apologize or suggested to remove the charge from our bill. I asked her then if she had a manager & she said she did. & the waitress informed us that the charge would be removed.

The check was presented. However, when examined, I was charged a fee for the salad that came with the sandwich. It was a minimal fee & I didn't feel like making a big deal out of it. I was left unsatisfied & wanted to leave.

Any other restaurant would have removed the charge & the manager would have made an appearance to discuss the issue. This didn't happen. We paid the bill & left, vowing never to return.

We were hoping to find another restaurant to add to our favorites but left feeling very disappointed. Perhaps the dinner menu is better & fresher. We'll never know since we won't be returning.

If the restaurant had served better food they would have found themselves with repeat customers. Sadly the opposite happened. We won't be stopping in again any time soon.

Hopefully it'll turn out...

We did not had reservations, and it was Friday evening, around 7:00 pm. We waited about 30 minutes for a table which is reasonable. The table we received was great, as it was in a semi-privet room, which is quiet and allowed conversation. The service throughout the dinner was excellent (5 out of 5), even that the place was very busy. Bathrooms were clean. We ordered the pasta with shrimps and bacon in creamy red sauce. The source is based on cream and is a bit heavy. This order also comes with a salad. Overall the dish is excellent. That said, for a pasta dish it is a bit expensive ($19). For reference I used several Italian restaurants in the neighborhood. We also ordered the pulled pork sandwich. The pulled pork comes on a bun and topped with cheese and onion rings. As a side dish we ordered sweet potato fries. The pulled pork sandwich taste good, but in my opinion is too greasy. I had this sandwich in other eateries, where the chef managed to keep a better balance of a rich food without the greasy feeling. The fries where not crispy as one expect, and the only dipping sauce offered was plain ketchup. Overall we had a great evening thanks to the excellent service. The food is good but can be made better. Perhaps it was the busy night that did not allow the chef to pay attention to details. A score of 3 out of 5 is in my opinion capture the food quality which is good, greasy, and is...

Celery was Yellowish pale white and with dark spots, seems like the keep the fresh celery soaked in the refrigerator … I skipped them tonight … 🤷🏻‍♀️

fried chicken was a 10 great 👍🏻 Fish was very good 👍🏻 I give it a 10

Hot tea was great 👍🏻!!!!

String beans were not the freshest but it was deliciously seasoned and sautéed…!!!

Mash potatoes were maybe a little old but it was good enough !!!!!

They have a spicy hot pinkish dipping sauce that I recommend to ask for … delicious 😋!!!!!!

Restaurant was pretty busy tonight …. Environment was a little loud … but what can you ask …. Most of people had a drink 🥃….. 😂….. I was probably the only sober …..

If I am not home you will find me here for the fry fish …..

They had not asparagus, not organic broccoli 🥦🫛🥬🫑🥒🍆🌶️🧄🥕🥕🥕, no Brussel sprouts, not sautéed mushrooms 🍄…. I don’t know what oil they use to fry the fish …… but fish was good 👍🏻

I recommend the peach 🍑 cobbler was delicious with ice cream,

I would melt dark chocolate 🍫 and drizzle of dark chocolate 🍫 on top of the vanilla ice cream and a few mint 🍃 leaf.

Overall I would come back …..

The service is NOT like the kettle house in chappaqua, however here service is aceptable not the best...
