I have been shopping at Drifts East from the beginning, before there was even a store front. Drifts East is the perfect place for special gifts. They have made custom pillows with local latitude and longitude coordinates which I like to give as retirement gifts when the retiree is leaving the area. During the first months of the COVID shutdown, Drifts East made personalized lawn flags so families across the east end could recognize their children graduating at all levels of school. Three years later, my son still has his flag which now hangs in his room. Drifts East also works with schools and other community groups on customized fundraising events. I love Drifts East! I just folded my fishing-themed MTK tea towels and placed them on the front of my range for all to see to remind me of my summer happy place! I made Drifts East part of my "tourist tour" every time I brought friends out to lunch in Montauk, we'd stop in. There's charming lil gifties for everyone on your list, and I managed to find myself a "must have" on every visit! The thoughtfully curated assortment is top quality, too. It's not typical resort town repetition- it's obvious someone is buying really mindfully....

I stopped in here briefly on my way out of town and wished I had room in my suitcase for the whole store. They had such adorable stuff. I chatted with the owner, who I believe is also a local., she was really sweet and full of knowledge about the area. Great shop with something for everyone. My favorite Christmas ornament is from there. ❤️💚 I can’t wait to pop by again...
