Ordinarily the store is a very good place to shop however today I had a bad experience.

Actually too bad experiences. The first was while I was waiting for the delivery truck to arrive to pick up 5 scoops of mulch for "mulch Madness, I laid my head back to take a nap while waiting A young guy, with a cocky attitude, banged on my window and stared at me--I informed him that I was simply waiting for the driver to pick up a truck to pick-up the mulch. Without an apology or any explanation, he walked away with his sidekick, having a good laugh.

I then went in the store to purchase mulch before the driver arrived. While discussing the quantity of mulch that one would get for $10, a manager came out of her office and taking the assistant, who was helping me, away/asking her to go with her, "you come go with me, whilehe is thinking about it." No excuse me, no I was just making sure you were all right, no nothing?

Having lost my patience as a result of these two micro-insults I am on my way tomorrow to buy mulch from Black Gold!

I have tried multiple times to go to this greenhouse as I love to support local businesses however they have been rude each time.

The first time I wanted a specific plant, which they had but would not sell to me (it wasn’t labeled that it was sold or anything). An older woman with dark hair was getting agitated that I wouldn’t buy other plants than what I wanted so I left. This was last year.

Went there today and followed the pathways in the greenhouse which led outside (to the right of the greenhouse if you are facing the property) where they had a beautiful stock of perennials and trees. Myself and an older gentleman were looking at the plants and a young man proceeded to close the greenhouse, locked us outside and we couldn’t get back in. My car was at the total other end of the property. I put back the plants I was planning on buying and walked around to the opposite end of the property and left.

It’s a little drive however try going to TNT greenhouse in Bradford, NY. They have the same brands and are absolutely lovely people. Also, their prices are more affordable....

Went to use a gift card that I got last year! The good news is that their gift cards do not have an expiration date! Not a lot to pick from but at this fine of the summer I didn't expect a lot. Massi's is always clean. Has nice looking, healthy flowers and lots of garden/lawn ornaments and flower holders to pick from. The girl that waited on us was very nice!
