I dropped my car off at 7am after calling the day before to setup an appointment to leave my car for the day to have 4 tires and rims installed. I paid in full and answered any questions. I arrived back at 5pm only to find that my car hadn't been touched. I went in to ask why they haven't gotten to my car yet and after about 5 minutes of waiting the only answer I got was "we can have it done for you in an hour". After a long day of work the last thing I wanted to do was to sit for another hour to do something that should've been done hours ago! I was very upset but still waited yet another hour for my car to get done. After a little more than an hour and answering questions over that I had specified earlier that morning, I was then asked to pay a different amount and made aware that guy that rang me up in the morning had overcharged me to begin with. To top it all off, the rims I had brought in had been scratched during the install only for the installer to assure me that the scrapes were there before bringing them in when I know for sure they were brand new rims and were not. I left very unhappy and in bad spirits. I'm very dissatisfied with firestone in painted post and this experience will probably make me think twice before ever going to another firestone for my next...

My daughter brought her car down about 6 months ago to get an inspection, after leaving it there overnight and not getting a call till the end of the next day, they failed it for something small and quoted her way too much so she just drove it home (2 minutes away). The next morning she drove to another shop about 10 minutes from her and it shook really bad and she called me bawling from the side of the road. I went down to follow her to the other shop. ALL of her wheels were wobbling! ALL the lug nuts were loose!!! About a week ago my daughter took her car back to Firestone letting them know she needed an inspection on her new car. She didn’t think about the last time she was there. She left the car all day, picked it up at the end of the day and again, they said it failed for something they could fix for a very high price. She left there and ever since the car has been idle if very rough! I’m mind blown! It’s inspected by another shop and they said there was nothing wrong with it that would fail nys inspection.
