I recently brought my vehicle to Healey Ford in Goshen for several services and felt it was important to share my experience.
The seat trim was improperly installed. When I addressed this with the service advisor, I was made to feel as though it was my oversight rather than theirs, even though they had originally recommended the seat trim replacement. I hadnât noticed any issue with the seat trim prior to their suggestion.
The charges were not clearly explained. I was simply presented with a total to pay, along with what the insurance covered. Despite our efforts to reconcile the numbers, we couldnât account for the discrepancy, and it seemed that the advisor was unconcerned about a few hundred dollars being unaccounted for.
The detailed cleaning was well-executed for Rows 1 and 2, a marked improvement from previous cleanings. However, Row 3 was completely overlooked, leaving the back of the SUV interior dirty, although the exterior cleaning was excellent.
The service advisor was quite helpful throughout the process while the work was being done, which I appreciated. However, when it came to addressing issues that didnât meet the expected standard, there was a noticeable lack of solutions or accountability, despite my clear expectation that the work should be perfect considering the cost involved.
While there were positive aspects to the experience, I left feeling that some key details were overlooked and that more attention to customer concerns would have been appreciated.
Edited: looks fantastic, missed some interior parts (door pannels and seats, just spots, no biggie) but overall, I will come back for their detailed cleaning services. Transmission has no problem too. I recently entrusted my vehicle to Healey Ford for a transmission issue.
I'm immensely grateful for the exceptional service I received at Healey Ford. From the moment I arrived, the professionalism and efficiency displayed by the team are already above and beyond especially John, my advisor, and Jim, the service driver, were truly exemplary. The team's dedication to ensuring a seamless process from the entrance to the end of service was evident and highly appreciated, deserving every bit of the 5-star ratings they've earned.
Healey Brothers undeniably sets a high standard for service areas/dealership in the region, and my initial impressions were nothing short of excellent. However, I must express my disappointment with the detailed cleaning service I opted for. Despite my anticipation of seeing my car restored to its former glory, the results fell short of expectations. I couldn't help but feel that I could have achieved a better clean myself.
I had eagerly anticipated a finish worthy of a showroom floor, envisioning my car gleaming as if it had just rolled off the assembly line. Alas, the reality was far from that, trunk and other parts of the vehicle were not even touched, leaving me with a sense of disappointment.
Despite this setback, I remain optimistic about Healey Ford's ability to improve their detailing service. While I can't leave a review about the transmission repair just yet, as I need more time to observe, I sincerely hope that they will address this aspect of their service to match the excellence displayed in other areas.

   Read moreWe have scheduled warranty service of our brand new RV a couple of times for a check engine light and although we made âappointmentsâ it took over a week before they even looked at it. The first time they said it was just a connection that came loose but the light and other lights turned on again within the first 20 miles of driving the RV again. I scheduled an appointment to drop the vehicle off again and here we are over a week later with no updates and the excuse that they are very busy.
I am not sure what the purpose of having an appointment is if they donât even look at it on the day of the appointment. Unfortunately we donât have a choice of any other dealer since they are the only one in the area that is capable of servicing RVs.
Update 4/8/2022: Within an hour or so after the earlier review I received a call from the service department after I left a message on his voicemail and after leaving the review. They looked at my vehicle and ordered the parts required and are hoping to have the RV ready by mid week next week, (which would be 2 weeks after my appointment). The customer relations representative also reached out after seeing the earlier review and they spoke with service to try and resolve the delay. As a result of the improved communication, I am upgrading my review from one star to two stars and will continue be as transparent as possible as our RV is serviced.
Update 4-11-2022: Healey Ford put forth great effort and customer service to make up for the delay and I was able to pick up my RV today, the next business day following my initial review. My recommendation to future customers that may run into the same situation is to contact the customer relations department and they will do everything reasonable to meet your expectations. Healey Ford's service department says they guarantee their work, but they do not.
This summer, I brought my car in for repair. Picked it up, it wasn't fixed, and I had to bring it back again. Shortly after I picked it up the second time, the debris shield fell off while I was driving at speed. It was a very scary experience. I brought it back to Healey but they said they weren't responsible for it. It's over $450 for a new one.
Then, I brought my car in for an electrical problem. They identified the source of the problem, but curiously only repaired the wiring associated with the problem, and not the problem itself. Not 48 hours after I picked up the 'repaired' car, it failed again. Now, Healey wants another $600 to repair it again, but won't refund the $500 already paid. If they "guarantee" their work, should I not be refunded for the repair that failed, or have it fixed gratis?
If they 'guarantee' their work, why am I paying for a second repair in two weeks? I am so very disappointed. I cannot in good conscience recommend this service department to anyone.
Update: Healey called after I posted this review, however, all they did was try to convince me they were right. There was no offer to refund the failed repair, just an offer to "really" fix it this time. I have never worked with a repair shop that didn't stand by their work before, and this entire situation is incredibly disappointing.
