Save your money and go elsewhere. This is the type of small family business that gives a bad name to small businesses. The daughter Christine is rude and blatantly lied. When she was called out on lying she just kept interrupting and avoiding the fact that she lied. And yes, the initial issue was my fault as I had trouble accessing their pay on line and I was over due, to which we spoke about and I made arrangements with her for that to never happen again. She went against those arrangements and then lied about it and was completely manic in her change of attitude once put on the spot. This must be learned behavior from her father Doug, who blatantly lied to me over the phone saying our trash wasn’t out at 7, which it was because I am out there putting my kids on the bus at 7, and said his wife drove by at 8 and saw me putting trash out then… I was back in bed at 8am as I wasn’t feeling well and went straight back into bed after my kids got picked up. When I called him out on his lying he just got nasty and said I was “a problem house” and he was canceling our service and would refund the rest of the month. Considering this family makes a living out of lying I won’t hold my breath on that refund. Now let’s talk about quality of trash pickup. They are terrible. They consistently ripped bags, spilled trash all over the property, threw my cans around and broke them. They take the smallest trash cans out there as well, leaving you with less trash removal options so they can price gouge you per bag. Their pickup time is extremely inconsistent and as I said above, if you question their behavior they simply attack the customer and lie. I tried to be patient with them, however, I don’t like paying to be lied to. Now I’m sure they will write a counter review and continue with their lies and bash me as they have to their other customers with similar issues. Half of this story is correct yes they came to us because they were supposedly being harassed by another costumer but never once made a police report. Instead they went to another costumer and made it their problem to deal with. They way they went about this to begin with.Yes I do have an order of protection from said costumer has nothing to do with domestic!!! We have an order of protection due to harassment. Crazy. Also when we called to ask why trash wasn't picked up we were met with a nasty condescending female, who continuously tried to instigate the situation and make false accusations all while laughing!! She can't even tell her own lies from truth, she started she story with them contacting us then switched to saying we contacted them. There was also never an issue whatsoever until this day! Also still waiting on my refund!!

Beside outrageous cost ($38 per month, PLUS $18 PER SHEET of MANDATORY trash bag stickers - which BARELY STICK AND BREAK EASILY), customer service is shockingly poor. I had a no-pick-up situation, and when I called to inquire, I received bizarre accusations of "not having a tag on my bag," which morphed into having a "half tag" on my bag, which morphed into having a "taped tag on my bag." ALL FALSE, with photo as proof. Very unfriendly call from "Doug", who denounced me as a customer and said my trash would no longer be picked up. My complaint about this resulted in an office attendant harassing me with egregious emails. Doug’s Trash Removal is a business with practices that are risky, dishonest, and NOT customer-friendly.
I noticed after I posted my review that "Christine" posted a counter-response, as seems to be typical for her. She is defensive, and accepts zero accountability for poor service (particularly poor service regarding customer interaction). She publicly displays email conversations, but leaves out the customer's account so that only her conflated, misrepresented responses appear.
