I just sampled the worst peaches in my life. I purchased them on Tuesday, 3 days ago. They were rock hard, so I let them ripen on the counter. Today ALL of them are a terrible brown inside, and tasteless. This was not due to over-ripening. I'm very disappointed and I wasted $7. I was a bit concerned, because I didn't think you could get peaches in October. My concerns were well-justified.
