7-Eleven — Local services in Town of Hempstead

The service wasn't like this before, before I share my experience. Keep in mind that I stutter, have social anxiety and didn't know the name of the item that I was looking for. So I was walking home (a 36 minute walk by the way) and I decided to go into the 7-eleven looking for a Micro USB to USB Adapter Cable, and I looked for about a solid 5 minutes and left without buying anything, I didn't ask about it because I have social anxiety because of my stutter. And I thought about going back in but I was embarrassed because I pretty much just came into the store for five minutes and just left. But after a while of thinking I went back in (And I had a pretty bad stutter and social anxiety so it took some guts to go back in). And ask if they had any USB to phone adapters, so now I knew that that was not the name because they pointed me in the direction of the chargers, but then I try to describe it as best as I could. But after like 5 more minutes of trying to describe it they say "well then you're not looking for anything" so I wouldn't really care if someone said this to me but its just the way they said it. they were doing the "shoo" hand motion and they said it like I was wasting their time, like mate I could be at home relaxing on my couch right now but no, I decided to come into this store and try and buy something, So now I understand if they didn't have the item but they could've just said "I don't think we have what you're looking for" but no, and since I had social anxiety and felt like I was bothering them I just left thinking about how much I messed up, (by the way it was raining and I didn't have a hood) but now looking back at it, they were pretty rude. But I have bought things from this store before and the same exact employees who did this were pretty nice so I just pray to god that they were just having a bad day or something if i'm right I will delete this review. And the thing is that I have never gave something or a place under 3 stars, I am a very nice person (or at least that's what other people say) so this is a...

Today is 7/11 FREE SLURPEE DAY as a thank you to the loyal patrons of the store. Yet, this 7-11 had a sign that said NO SLURPEES AFTER 7PM. This is absolutely uncalled for as it is a made up rule. The 7-11 website states that it will serve free slurpees on this day until midnight. Myself and multiple customers were extremely discouraged seeing this sign. When I approached the man working behind the counter, he said he just works here, read the sign, and call the owner. He was very rude and dismissive. My sisters and children were past their 7pm curfew and did not get to experience this celebration. They will never be getting my business or our...

Don’t go to this one to buy food. Coffee is fresh but their stock rotation is bad. I’ve wasted too much money already on things like- ice cream I paid $5 for which had freezer burn, milk that went expired, chip bags w hole in the top open and stale, punctured plastic container with stale cinnamon buns. I brought back food and they’ll exchange it but that’s not the point. They don’t check the dates or the seal quality and it should not be put on the shelf that way. Very sloppy rotation.

Most of the time when you’re rushing for work you’re not going to drive back to 7/11 to exchange a product that shouldn’t have been put out. It’s poor...
