Seymour, the owner is one of the most disgusting human beings I've ever encountered.

Imagine walking into a card store to get some some items appraised, not knowing much about hockey memorabilia. Imagine the owner pretending to look up the values of cards in front of you. Imagine him pointing to graded cards worth several hundred dollars (and much more) and telling you they're worth "a couple bucks." Imagine he offers you $800 and you haggle him to $1000. Imagine your phone rings with another card shop who you had sent pictures to for appraisal and Seymour says "hang up the phone or no deal" Imagine walking into your car wIth a thousand dollars thinking you did well and the other shop texts you that a single card you just sold is legitimately worth OVER THIRTY THOUSAND DOLLARS.

Imagine the owner refusing to return your cards after walking back in and calling out his scam just a few minutes later. Imagine him lying to your face insisting there is no way any of those cards are worth that much. Imagine going back to your car wondering if you should call the police and him walking out to your car and shoving $400 dollars into your window because he "felt bad"

Imagine giving him ALL of his money back and only receiving the single most valuable card back. Imagine going back the next day and begging for the rest of your things back and he returns none of the graded cards and gives just a binder back with a significant amount of pages missing and screamING in your face "What MORE DO YOU WANT?"

I want to walk into a store and receive and honest and professional experience. I want a fair, accurate appraisal. I want to not be lied to and taken advantage of. I want ALL of my belongings back when I give you back ALL OF YOUR MONEY.

If there were 0 stars this is what I would rate them. The woman that works there got my pregnant wife and 2 little boys to buy a 55 dollar box of cards for $162.38 when my wife originally came there to buy the 2014 box of Panini Contenders Football. The woman at the store persuaded my wife to buy the 2013 box of Panini Contenders Football cards versus the 2014 box of Panini Contenders Football cards that she originally came there to purchase. She told my wife there are no signed autograph cards in the 2014 box, and continued to lie. She even charged her a base price of 150 dollars, and when I went there to return the box - the price of the box had a 125 dollar yellow sticky on it (which was 25 less than what was charged). I took pictures to prove this. Simultaneous to all of this (Seymour - the owner of the store) texted me the price of the 2013 box was 105 dollars. (I have the text saved to prove this as well) I guess a pregnant woman, a 6 year old boy, and a 5 year old boy looked like easy marks to this awful woman. This woman is not only a con-artist, but she is a liar too. I pray for you lady. I was a good customer, and about to be a great customer until we came across your path. Essentially a scalper with a storefront. I’m sure he has what you’re looking for because he had what I was looking for. Unfortunately he had it for 2x retail and it just came out yesterday. I called on the phone first yesterday because all the normal stores were wiped out by the other scalpers. I chose not to purchase what I wanted because I don’t think we should be encouraging these people to destroy the hobbies that children and people who’ve been playing games for 20+ years enjoy and love. The biggest slap in the face came because when I asked the price over the phone (because I live 30 minutes away) he told me that he “couldn’t give me it because other shops try to call and compare” and that he “assures me it’s fair” ( which 2x retail IS NOT) so pretty much this shop and others are having a competition to see who can rob you the most without the others knowledge.
