West Point Association of Graduates — Local services in Town of Highlands

The AOG was sending mail to me with the wrong rank for like 15 years. I drove there (West Point AOG building) and talked with an individual (a Lady) and she said it would be fixed. I left my DD214. Eventually I talked to a Lady on the phone who said it is fixed, as my highest rank was 1LT. She offered to address further mail as Miss, which I agreed too. Since I left my DD214 I went back to the West Point AOG and was assured again by two different individuals (one was the same Lady and another was a Man), that it was fixed. Yesterday I received another piece of mail addressed to me as CPT. I am going to go back and make sure I receive mail as 1LT anymore as I do not think they are respecting Rank properly and possibly not promoting people...

Rented the event hall, which is a fantastic venue. Was initially pleased because the rate for the venue was reasonable, and the building is beautiful. What I did not expect was to be charged an additional 10% on top of the quoted price for pedantic, unreasonable, and non-negotiable fees. Although the staff is not rude, do not expect them to listen to reasonable objections to additional fees, or allow you the opportunity to resolve problems with anything other than your wallet. Expect to pay more than they quote you for the use of the facility. We will be seeking a new venue for our events from this...

My wife, family, and I did the Graduate Insider Tour during my wedding weekend at the end of September and Brian Wetzler was wonderful. He made coordinations very easy and he customized the tours to the interests of my family members, which I really appreciated and made for a very special experience. Brian went above and beyond during each of the two tours (we had to split the family up) and we truly enjoyed his company. He is a fantastic tour guide and person, and my family continues to talk about how awesome he is...
