My visit to Zulu Time Rooftop Bar and Lounge was an absolute delight from start to finish. If you're looking for a laid-back, scenic place to enjoy great food, drinks, and company, this spot checks all the boxes.
First of all, the location and atmosphere are unbeatable. Perched right on the rooftop, the bar offers a stunning view overlooking the Hudson River ā it's especially beautiful during sunset. Thereās ample seating, including both tables and comfy lounge chairs, so you can really relax and take in the vibe. It never felt overcrowded or cramped, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
Now letās talk about the food ā wow! We ordered the buffalo wings, Caesar salad, and pretzel bites, and every dish exceeded expectations. The wings were perfectly crispy with just the right amount of heat, the Caesar salad was fresh and well-dressed, and the pretzel bites were soft, warm, and paired with a fig mustard dipping sauce that was honestly out of this world. It added such a unique twist and was one of the highlights of the night.
Our server, Caitlin, was another standout. She was warm, friendly, and incredibly attentive without ever being intrusive. She anticipated our needs, made great menu recommendations, and genuinely added to the positive atmosphere. And letās not forget ā she makes an amazing margarita. Perfectly balanced and so refreshing, it was hands-down one of the best Iāve had in a long time.
Overall, Zulu Time offers a wonderful mix of chill rooftop vibes, quality service, and flavorful food and drinks. Whether you're meeting up with friends, going on a casual date, or just looking for a cool place to unwind after work, this spot is a solid choice.
I highly recommend Zulu Time to anyone in the area or visiting ā you wonāt be disappointed. Iām already looking forward to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe had āhighā hopes for this rooftop lounge at this fancy West Point hotel but were sorely disappointed. We went there to celebrate our anniversary and friends birthday, made reservations, knowing full well that this menu was light fare. When we got there, we were seated at a table with a dirty black tablecloth with a rip in it. We started with drinks which were decent. We went on to order appetizers which came out looking unappetizing in sad looking plates! The tots for $14 were like something bought from Costco covered with pulled pork and cheap cheese, the boneless chicken wings for $11 looked like chicken nuggets for kids on wilted lettuce with sauce in plastic cups, the onion rings looked dry and burnt and the āhomemadeā chips looked like they had opened a bag and dumped them into a soup plate! We were so turned off we did not order dinner. We ordered dessert instead which seemed to have a better description but they were so rich we could not finish them. While eating our desserts, it started to rain but they didnāt really seem to care, we grabbed our plates and drinks and ran under the bar cover. The decor and ambiance was lack luster., paint peeling off the concrete floor, broken seating, speakers falling off the wall, no lights, no music and no umbrellas for the tables that were meant for dinner. It is a waste of a great view and so...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWonderful experience!! Hubby and I got there when they opened to set up for a mini surprise family birthday party. The staff was amazing! The friendly and attentive bar manager (please forgive me, I forgot his name!) came over to introduce himself and made us feel completely at home. Our server for the evening, Jessica, was phenomenal! She was such a ray of sunshine, friendly, attentive, patient, just lovely. The food was perfect, we got a bunch of delicious appetizers and Jessica kept the drinks flowing without having to grab her attention. The music was appropriate, not too loud, and our fellow patrons were considerate of each other as well. And of course, you canāt forget about the beautiful view, which doesnāt need a review or description! A wonderful evening made even better by the wonderful staff. Canāt...
