Lar's Auto Shop & Used Cars — Local services in Town of Holland

I recently was in the market to buy a used vehicle but only had limited funds to do so. I was also very particular about the make and model of car that I wanted. I really wanted something with fairly low miles that ran good and looked decent. Too much to ask? Some might think so. After speaking with a few shady used car dealerships, I somehow found my way to Lar's Used Cars Plus. I didn't see anything on their lot that interested me but I figured I'd give a call and just feel them out to see what they could do. Speaking to Al was more than a refreshing voice, after the previous so-called dealerships I spoke with. We had a nice discussion about what I was looking for and he sounded pretty positive that he could find me the right vehicle. I was more than willing to wait until one came along. When it did (which was less than 2 weeks later), he called me up and told me what he'd found and I went and took it for a drive. It was exactly what I wanted and It just needed a few repairs before it would be ready to drive home. He got the work done in a timely manner, sold it to me for a fair price, and I'm so incredibly happy with it! It runs great and I feel safe in it and the price couldn't be beat! First time buying a car: I have to admit that Al and Tammy were very nice to me when selling me my car. Al even shopped around to find to me the car that I was looking for. They said I would have it within a week. It took them 3 1/2 weeks for me to get it. They said sorry it was taking so long and that when I got it it would even have a full tank of gas. It didn't.I was also told they were going to clean the inside and they didn't. Unfortunately I just kept on having problems with the car. I took it to their shop and they didn't fix the problems I was having and even more problems came up. The sensor on the gas tank was bad so I had gas spill out all the time.
